Children are the flowers of life? or why the children of flowers grow up to be cacti... There are a lot of jokes about how children are “the flowers of life, but on the grave of their parents” and that “let them bloom better on other people’s windowsills.” Older readers probably remember the flower children of the 60s and that’s all women know that everything starts with flowers, but ends in different ways... But for jokes, please go elsewhere, I’m going to talk not without humor, not for the sake of laughter, but for ease of reading. So, why flowers and what is the connection between psychology and floristry, you will be displeasedly surprised. I would like to ask you, before expressing dissatisfaction and moving away from me into the endless expanses of the Internet, remember our initial agreement - to strain your brains, not each other, and I, in turn, trying not to strain you too much, suggest you think about where such a connection between words in Russian comes from language: “color” and “flowers”, and about the place colors and flowers occupy in our lives. Let's start with flowers. Everything begins and everything ends with flowers. Flowers are brought to the maternity hospital, they charm a girl’s heart with flowers, they are given to a mother or colleague as a sign of respect, and finally, flowers are brought to a cemetery. This is how it turns out that our life begins and ends with flowers... But why do we do this? It’s a ritual, a habit, it’s customary, you might say without thinking. And if you think about it! Does the modern super-rational person follow rituals? Forgive me, but I have to doubt your modernity and sanity! Our president is Putin, not Confucius, who put the importance of ritual above common sense. You and I are modern people, and if it were just a dead ritual, we would forget about it as the commandments and the place of the grave of Confucius, but every time preparing for March 8th or Valentine's Day, men with shaking hands count their stash, wondering what will remain for him and whether he needs it The bouquet also comes with a gift. Depending on character traits and the size of the nest egg, they go to choose a gift or come to the conclusion that “with this.... , a bouquet is enough, just let her mother try to say that I don’t give flowers.” Yes, it happens in different ways, only the presence of flowers remains mandatory, and I will try to explain why.
