Greetings, dear friends, colleagues, users and guests of our forum! I often write about the fact that you cannot control emotions, but you can only control your actions after these emotions have appeared and we noticed these emotions. Today I want to say a few words about the so-called negative, unpleasant emotions (well, or, as such phenomena are often called, feelings), namely: anxiety, anger, fear, haste (although this is not an emotion, but I think you understand what I want to talk about, what our manifestations are). Indeed, to begin with, it is important to be able to notice all the emotions in yourself. This may require working with a psychologist. Then you can somehow, as they say, “pull yourself together,” “control these very emotions.” So we realized that we were angry, worried, and in a hurry. And then we can begin to analyze why we need all this, what these manifestations give us. Will we do something better if we work ourselves up in anger? Will our dialogue with others be more productive? How will anxiety help us, what will it give us? Because we are in a hurry, will we do more? About our other manifestations that we don’t like, that we want to change, we can ask ourselves the same or similar questions. It is obvious that all these feelings, if we succumb to them, will draw a lot of energy onto ourselves, we will seem to be doing two things at once , for example, to get angry and communicate, and obviously more energy will go not into establishing relationships, if this is, of course, necessary, but into anger. In the anxiety that can overwhelm us, we will not be able to make informed decisions. Perhaps it makes sense to distract yourself with something, not to drive yourself into a corner with constant thoughts about what is causing this anxiety. It’s even better to share this anxiety with someone; it may well turn out that our fears are exaggerated. If we are in a hurry, do we always get more done? I notice that the saying “the slower you drive, the further you will go” was not invented in vain. Here, haste also takes away a lot of energy and effort that could be spent on the task and, accordingly, fewer things get done. Of course, this is not always the case, but you can observe when haste only gets in the way. Probably, if you decide to start putting all these tips into practice, you may not succeed right away. This is normal, training is important, gradually everything will work out! And remember that we are the masters of our emotions and manifestations, not them!
