Near Voronezh, at the tourist center "Fakel" there was a Gestalt intensive, in 2006, in my opinion. One of the seminars was conducted by a wise psychologist, San Sanych. One day, when he was teaching classes with his students, a young psychologist, known for his strong physical strength, rudeness and cruelty, approached him. His favorite technique was provocation: he enraged a person and, blinded by rage, he accepted his challenge, made mistake after mistake and, as a result, received a “snot.” The young psycho began to insult Sanych: he threw cones at him, spat and cursed the last words. But Sanych remained unperturbed and continued his studies. At the end of the day, an irritated and tired young psychologist left the intensive course. The students, surprised that San Sanych endured so many insults, asked him: “Why didn’t you answer him?” Are you really scared? Sanych replied: “If someone comes to you with a gift and you don’t accept it, who will the gift belong to?” “To its former owner,” answered one of the students. “The same goes for envy, hatred and curses.” Until you accept them, they belong to the one who brought them. P.S. I was that psycho. We agreed with Sanych that I would “put him down”, and he would “fry” the fry, and, at the same time, see who is worth what in the study group. Oh, and then we laughed! And they dug up mountains of material for work. ........................................... Provocative psychotherapy is a unique, effective system of psychological practice. The name of the method is already intriguing and don’t you want to click on this phrase and find out what it is? The word “provocation” attracts our attention and our consciousness craves satisfaction of interest. The creator of a unique direction in psychotherapy is Frank Farrelly, an American psychotherapist, a living classic, author of books and publications, who has received international recognition, attracting audiences of up to a thousand people. When talking to a person, Farrelly seems to read him. Talent, genius, master of jokes, magnificent - all these words also apply to him. At the same time, he is spoken of as a caring father, whose sessions are comfortable and safe. Just as everything ingenious is simple, so is Farrelly’s method. Provocation with a joke is a good way to achieve results. Provocation as a means of psychological influence serves as a catalyst for the reaction of human development towards healing.
