From the author: Currently, psychologists are increasingly using the concept of energy in their work. At the same time, this concept is sometimes given different meanings. By definition, we can say that energy is various changes, transitions, or movement. From the experience of group therapy, it is known that energy processes play an important role in increasing the effectiveness of interaction in a therapeutic group, as an aspect of interpersonal interaction between participants. At the same time, both the time frame of interaction and the intensity of specific interaction processes become important. In the breathing process, the energy aspect plays a key role, performing the function of internal communication between people, since verbal communication is minimized or completely absent. The manifestation of the transformative function of real energy is recorded mainly by the breathers themselves on the basis of changes in sensation in the physical body. At the same time, a greater number and greater intensity of sensations correspond to a more intense level of energy. And a change in energy potential usually leads to a change in the structure of the interpersonal moment of interaction between people, and, accordingly, changes in the assessment scheme, the creativity of sensory perception, the manifestation of will and the structure of thought forms. Breathing itself is a cyclical process, strictly tied to the dynamics of feelings and thinking (as we feel, so we breathe). In connected breathing processes, breathers are asked to relax and breathe without a pause between inhalation and exhalation. This creates the opportunity to increase the energy level in the body continuously, using energy accumulations only to maintain the breathing cycle itself, repeating the same breathing pattern over and over again. At the same time, as the practice of respiratory processes shows, an increase in energy fullness is accompanied by a change in a person’s state of consciousness, in other words, an expansion of consciousness. This is accompanied not only by an expansion of trance, but also by an increase in the tone of emotions and awareness. In this case, a restructuring in the structure of the body’s energy resource usually leads to the movement of psychosomatic material from a person’s past experience, as well as the integration of disparate parts in consciousness. Nonverbal interaction with energy occurs both in the personal field and in the interpersonal space of the group. In respiratory processes, one can observe spatial interaction between group members, expressed through the synchrony of the manifestation of feelings and body movements. Feelings and tensions of the participants in the process associated with past situations can be expressed through spontaneous movements, sounds, or experienced in the form of internal sensations, experiences, images. In the respiratory process itself, which lasts 1-2 hours, there are 3 stages. The first stage is the initiation of breathing, and entry into an expanded state of consciousness. What is important here is the depth of the breathing itself, its intensity and frequency. Against the background of relaxation, this breathing mode creates a powerful flow of energy and consciousness through the body. The duration of the first stage can be from 5 to 15 minutes, depending on the sensitivity of the group members. The second stage is the experience of internal psychosamotic material through cyclic breathing, feelings, spontaneous body movements and mental states (30-90 minutes). The third stage occurs against the background of exiting the breathing process, as a relaxed stay in the field of energy reflection or sleep (10-20 minutes). Often observed positive characteristics of breathing participants are relaxation, natural behavior, a favorable emotional atmosphere in the group, and manifestation of creative activity. Unfavorable signs in conditions of incomplete sensations are increased depression, isolation, aggression, moodiness, dissatisfaction. According to the dynamics of the group, it is proposed to create the opportunity for emotional support, both from the lead trainer and from the participants themselves in the form of pair interaction. Usually the group breaks into pairs and the participants breathealternately with the energetic support of the partner. The form of interaction in a couple is more non-verbal, intuitive. Choosing a suitable partner is very important, since breathing works best in an atmosphere of trust, warmth, in the field of conscious attention and meditation. The breathing process itself is very environmentally friendly for the person breathing, since energy processes in the body are completed on their own without outside intervention. Often well-chosen rhythmic music is used, corresponding to the stage of the ongoing breathing process. The movement of energy through the body of the breather can be both expressed and hidden. Some people do not feel anything special while breathing, except for superficial sensations, their presence and their thoughts. Another part of the group may experience intense spasms in the muscles of the arms, face, and abdomen. Such phenomena are called “hyperventilation”. Sometimes there is a change in hearing sensitivity (the breather can enjoy music). There is often a desire to move and dance. And some people find themselves captured by internal images, living out the plots of their lives (often these are past traumas). Positive is the controllability of the process, both through changes in breathing and through imagination, the power of thought. In breathing, a certain role is played by the degree of preparedness of the participants, their personal experience of going through breathing processes. The higher the preparation of each person in the group, the more intense the energy field of the group can be, and the deeper the personal changes as a result of the breathing session. The most important skills to train are awareness of the breather's attention, the ability to breathe in different ways and maintain the intensity of the process of coherent breathing. Skills in relaxation and the ability to work with negative feelings, the ability to integrate states of consciousness are important. At the end of group breathing, it is recommended that the training participants talk about impressions and feelings for better completion and awareness of the changes that have occurred. Body practices and drawing mandalas can be used. The breathing process is considered complete when positive feelings predominate in the group, there are no negative feelings or depressive states, and there are no complaints about discomfort in the body. As a rule, at the end of the training, the cohesion of the group increases, and the boundaries of interpersonal communication stereotypes are expanded. There is more openness, sincerity, trust, and relaxation. The dynamics of energy interaction in a group undergoes significant changes during the breathing process. When entering the breathing process, people experience stiffness and resistance, or anxiety. At first, these feelings may make it difficult to breathe coherently and to go deeply into the process of changing consciousness. Then, under the influence of the breath itself against the background of relaxation and the growth of group energy, there is an expansion of consciousness and an increase in entropy in the group. As a result of processing, each participant in the group receives a unique opportunity to express their deepest feelings against the backdrop of increasing energy in the body. Individual members of the group who have gone through deep experiences of the energy of birth, death, and rebirth may experience changes in their basic conclusions about the value of life, changes in their understanding of good and evil, and a globalization of their idea of their place in the world and the meaning of personal existence. As a result of this analysis of the consequences of energy work with breathing, it can be assumed that the energetic aspects of consciousness, expressed through breathing, have a serious impact on the results of group work, both for the group as a whole and for each person on a personal level. In the case of repeated breathing sessions, a person develops a stable feeling of personal freedom, psychosomatic relief, lightness and creative thinking. Often, as a result of breathing, chronic diseases, headaches, and body ailments can disappear. Of particular value after effects from respiratory processes is the experience of expanding consciousness during the breathing process.Consciousness becomes expanded as a result of intense breathing and the movement of energy through the body of the breather. In an expanded state of consciousness, a person can perceive not only images, but also directly feel the impact of energy in the form of sensations, changes in tactile perception of the surrounding space. Experiencing an unusual experience creates a stimulating effect on the nervous system, expands a person’s understanding of reality, and promotes creative thinking. During breathing therapy, a person gains experience interacting with energy, which complements and clarifies the verbal experience of interacting with reality. This expands the mobility of using human behavior models and increases the efficiency of their use in everyday life. Energy patterns can manifest themselves in the human body as a feeling of inner tide, warmth, lightness, mobility, fatigue, vigor, etc. To explain the positive aspects of the influence of breathing, we can propose a divided diagram of human states with three variables. The first model of change concerns mental states such as comfort - discomfort, or psychological stability, or instability. Or, in other words, one is interested in the task of obtaining a stable, comfortable mental state. The second model consists of considering emotional states such as emotions, feelings. When a person is in satisfying feelings, such as joy, love, acceptance, peace, pleasure, optimism, etc., these are considered positive feelings, and a person can be left in these states. However, if feelings of anger, depression, closedness, anxiety, guilt, resentment, and the like are experienced, then in this case special therapeutic intervention is required to help these states turn into positive feelings. The third variable concerns the area of human energy states. This concept is closely related to movement, action, and practical realization of oneself in life. The implementation of human behavior can take place against the background of both positive mental and emotional states, and against the background of negative variables. Energy states are characterized mainly by feelings of fullness, vigor, or emptiness, lethargy, and weakness. In respiratory processes, practical changes occur mainly in the region of the third variable energy. But since all three variables, three types of states are interconnected, secondary changes can occur both in the psyche and in the emotions of the breather. These changes can be demonstrated in the following diagram: The connection between feelings, energy and the human psyche occurs through a certain essential center, or the core of all possible connections with the world. The description and understanding of the interaction, resonance of internal variables can be compared with what happens in living nature in the biosphere, and is subject to the general laws of nature and space, since man as a whole is an inseparable part of nature. It is more convenient to consider the processes occurring during breathing in spherical or volumetric coordinates, or, in other words, in multidimensional images. As for the real energy processes that occur when using breathing therapy, such as: hyperventilation, relaxation, imaginative experiences, spontaneous body movements and other phenomena, one can note the close connection between energy phenomena in the body and emotional manifestations, feelings, evaluative manifestations, and mental states. The simultaneous combination of various states in a person’s field of perception in itself leads to the integration and formation of new, more subtle in the normal state manifestations of the psyche, the sensory sphere and a feeling of fullness, readiness for action. First of all, the process of integration is useful, since the results of integration lead to greater stability in the human psyche, to an expansion of the sensory sphere and increased creative performance. These positive results are an important part of the system of rehabilitation of human creative abilities and.
