This is how the situation turned out: unexpected, but at the same time very predictable. Now, due to the coronavirus epidemic, any form of interaction on a remote basis is becoming increasingly relevant. And here, the previously criticized Internet communication, comes in handy. And what - I, for example, have been studying remotely for a long time, finishing my third degree remotely. This is very convenient for me, it doesn’t distract me from my main work, it allows me to save time and money on travel, which is especially sensitive in Moscow. It is possible that soon all of us (or many of us) will be forced to close at home for some period of time. This is where the Internet, instant messengers, and social networks come to the rescue. What we have been scolding for so long, and even cursing, becomes, in an epidemic situation, a lifesaver. Even food can be ordered through Internet sites, but will couriers still work, due to the tense situation? But wearing gloves, leaving food in a bag on the floor - I think it is quite possible. It seems that it is psychologically difficult - to be removed from real contacts like this, forced to retire for an indefinite period of time. But there is another side to the coin: thank God that we all have these means of communication: telephone, computer, tablet, laptop. Now you understand especially acutely that you can’t live without them. And communication with people is now seen somehow differently. If someone doesn’t write, doesn’t answer - and God be with him, but there is a warm home, a comfortable sofa, a PC in front of your eyes. There is a supply of food, favorite books. You can sometimes live on a “deserted island”, built in your own home. It depends on how you treat it - as an annoying necessity, or as a kind of adventure. Understand the benefits of this situation, and mentally “grasp” them in order to turn the forced break in active life into a resource. Everything ends eventually, and the epidemic will pass, its peak will decline, as forecasts promise - in May. For now, it is important to tune in for the best, using reasonable caution, and live a little remotely. And that is also an option! *All coincidences in the article are random, real facts and events have been changed.© Bogdanova Anzhelika, 2020.
