Do you have hypochondria, or are you just watching your health? Maybe you are already tired of running to doctors? Or maybe you think this is the norm? And what to do if you are already tired? Let's figure it out. What does a hypochondriac do? He clings to any bodily sensations that are normal for other people, and begins to inflate them in his thoughts to the size of a catastrophe, and even a fatal disease. And when there are no sensations, he assumes that the disease still exists, it just hasn’t been discovered. And then he must definitely find it, and carefully monitor how to avoid its occurrence, and take all sorts of preventive or therapeutic measures. People around do not understand this person, they often reject his complaints, they are “bored” by him. This is, of course, unpleasant. After all, a person believes that he has serious health problems, he is interested in talking about it and finding out that this is not the case. He asks and tells in the hope of finding some answer for himself, a hint, reassurance. But he has no idea what it should look like. Do you know what irritates others? That the person seems to be talking to you, but he is not interested in you. He is not interested in anything except his topic about his health. It’s as if you can’t touch him directly, you can’t make contact. And it is true. Because a hypochondriac has a real interlocutor - his body. Not another person. He is lonely inside himself, although he is drawn to people. It's very stretchy. But he doesn’t know how to make healthy contact. It so happened that in the history of this person’s development there were no joint actions with another. In childhood, important adult figures did not want or could not share feelings with him, did not show skills through joint interaction, play, or involvement in a common cause. They weren’t taught to recognize their feelings, they didn’t explain emotions, both theirs and the child’s. “You feel bad now because you’re upset that we’re not going for a walk now. I’m not mad at you, I’m a little tired, and I’ll rest a little, and then I’ll look at what you drew for me while I’m resting. This is normal. “that you’re angry because you didn’t succeed, just let’s try to do this together again. I don’t feel bad because of you, dad and I talked wrong, but we’re all together and we love you.” And many more similar things. And it doesn’t matter why this happened. And it doesn’t mean that the parents were bad. This is just what the child was not given. And such a little man often in childhood felt that something was happening, but was not explained to him, and then at any moment something could become unsafe. And if something happened to such a child, they were not explained to him, they were not lovingly reassured, but, like a broken doll, they were given to specialists (doctors, for example, or teachers). Or they immediately silently gave me medicine, without explaining that it would pass. And they themselves were very worried nearby and showed their helplessness. And if nothing can be done (for example, constant allergies), they simply ignored the suffering, pretending, especially in front of others, that everything was normal. Or silently broadcasting shame for such a child. And sometimes not silently... Often in childhood, the mother did not hold such a person in her arms, especially at a time when the child was feeling unwell. The body does not remember relying on mom. He couldn’t shout about his problems to adults. He felt that he was only inconvenient when something was wrong with him. But at the same time, the adult is forced to do something for him. Now the hypochondriac is also trying to shout to the doctors. In the hope that the “gestalt” will close the psychic support of someone by shouting and feeling it. And now the hypochondriac himself treats his body, as he treated it in childhood - with aggressive care, and the demand to “become normal, perfectly healthy, not bothering anyone.” The hypochondriac is successful in his solitude, he is a painstaking worker, and works for the result that he important. It's good to have such a person on your team :). But this person doesn’t know how to rest, so he often uses his body as a place of rest in such a strange way. It’s just that he’s drawn to contact... But he.
