“I’m a worthless person. Nothing works out for me...” Sometimes everyone can say this about themselves, but for some this happens all the time. Let's try to understand what is happening at this moment. This is a story about a person who is used to living his life this way - not noticing his successes, accepting his advantages. This model of behavior arises from negative experiences with parents. I myself remember how I was often compared to my friend, not for the better, it was unpleasant. Now we have grown up and it is our responsibility to deal with this. There is no point in blaming your parents, and it will not help solve the problem. To be more resilient and learn to value yourself, you can try the following: 1. Your advantages and strengths. Think about what sets you apart from others. What are you good at? Write at least 3-5 of your strengths on a piece of paper. It is very important to see not only the bad, but also the good in yourself. Refer to this list whenever you feel like you have failed again.2. Letting go of the past If you were devalued as a child, it is very painful and unpleasant. But don't let this experience continue to ruin your life now. If you find it difficult to deal with this on your own, there are always specialists who can help you figure it out and set you free.3. Eliminate offenders If someone from your environment devalues you, think: is it important to communicate with a person who does not value and respect you? If this is your loved one and there is no way to isolate yourself from him, express your feelings in response to his words - that you are offended and unpleasant to hear this. Monitor moments of depreciation. Abstract yourself from them, don’t take them personally.4. Give thanks If we know how to thank, we understand what it means to appreciate. Find in each day what makes sense to you. Thank yourself simply for preparing yourself a delicious and healthy breakfast in the morning, and for taking the time for a leisurely walk. Gratitude serves as a manifestation of love and care for yourself and others.
