What happened to the world? Why has life become so scary? In our modern world, the human psyche is constantly exposed to information attack. The information space is oversaturated with terrible, tragic, terrible events that make the hair on your head begin to stand out. Any information leaves an imprint on our psychological health. Those who have it stronger pass more or less smoothly through this incessant stream of negative news. But there are people who are more sensitive, with less good psychological health, and this category of people is now oh so not easy... What is fear? Fear is an emotion that arises from our imagination. The scheme is this: first you listened/saw something dangerous, imagined it all in bright colors in your head, then drew something else terrifying, and as a result, you received the emotion of fear, expressed in hopelessness, in a feeling of danger. As soon as you get emotionally hooked on some negative news, you’re trapped. Now this emotion will only grow in your consciousness. The nature of fear is such that the more you run from something terrible, the more you want to avoid it, the more you plunge into a huge field of fear, inflated by yourself. Fear is a kind of negative fantasy about future. But this is just an illusion, you yourself create it with your thinking and inflate it to a huge size. We mistakenly think that the more we know about the dangers that await us in the world, the more protected we are and are able to avoid those very dangers. And the life of an anxious person turns into an endless viewing of negative scary news and a fight against as yet non-existent dangers in his personal life. Emotions of fear are very energy-consuming. In the literal sense, this is pumping energy out of a person. When a person is in a constant state of fear, all mental energy is spent on fighting non-existent terrible fantasies, and there is no longer enough energy for life. Then psychosomatic manifestations appear - anxiety, rapid heartbeat, high blood pressure, insomnia, panic attacks, etc. Getting out of this state on your own is not so easy. But there is still something real that lies behind our many fears and anxiety. It doesn’t matter what you are afraid of - a little gray mouse or an incurable disease, behind all fears there is one, the most important one - the fear of death. This is a basic fear, absolutely all people have it, but your only choice is whether to pump up this fear with your fantasies, or to shift your attention and invest your energy in something more positive and joyful. It is on this fear that all news feeds are based, because that it is much easier to cling to the human psyche with the fear of death than, say, with the news that a female elephant at the zoo gave birth to a baby elephant after two years of pregnancy. The news about the birth of a baby elephant will not cause such an emotional outburst as the tragic, terrible news about the unfortunate victims of a crashed plane. To catch on to your emotions is the task of all news resources. They do their job, and anxious people are increasingly plunged into the abyss of horror and fear. And thus, for an anxious person, the world turns into a terrible, dangerous space, where at every step there is only death and pain. The first point in treating an anxious state is to limit or completely eliminate all negative news. You must completely free all senses from negative information. Gradually clear your perception, do not expose it to information attack. You need to replace news channels with channels about art or animals, switch from critical news sources to positive or humorous ones. You remain the same consumer of information, but it must change qualitatively. Your senses should receive much more positive good information than negative information. But it is not so easy to break away from the emotional pump with which you are accustomed to sucking energy out of yourself. Here!
