From the author: Every person sometimes experiences situations of internal conflict. The technique will help you harmonize your state and find a path to understanding within yourself. You know the feeling when you seem to know how to do the right thing: open a business, lose weight, start playing sports, take a cutting and sewing course, start going to the gym, change jobs, start devote time to children and many many other different situations of yours...? And for some reason you lie, sit, live - and do nothing. Something constantly gets in the way: people, circumstances, mood, weather... And it seems like you’re smart and talented, and you understand everything, - AND WHO IS STILL THERE! Is it familiar? And everything seems to be simple, especially with acquaintances friends from the outside. And you are still there. Most often there is an internal conflict. When, let’s say figuratively: one part of you knows and wants to change something, and the other part of your Self, just as important and necessary, does everything to prevent changes from happening. If this is about you, try a simple technique: 1. Sit comfortably, find a secluded place for 10-15 minutes. Relax. You can close your eyes.2. Place two hands in front of you, palms up.3. On one, place the image of that part of your Self that wants achievements, changes, changes. Imagine what it might look like or sound like, or how it might feel in your body. Mentally ask her what is important to her. Feel this answer. The answer may be in the form of images, sounds or an inner voice, or sensations in the body. Try to fully understand it. Mentally thank this part of you for sharing what is important to it. 4. On the second palm, place that part of your Self that, for some reason, is against the realization of a goal, desire, or change. Thank her for her care, ask what she is protecting in this way, what she is protecting you from, what she is achieving, what is important for her to preserve. The answer can also come in the form of images, sensations, sounds, or internal text. Accept it, realize it, feel it. Say thank you! Promise this part of you that you will try to preserve and take into account what is important to it. Great. Now, slowly move your hands towards each other until they meet. Perhaps you will imagine that parts of your Self are talking and agreeing with each other. Perhaps this work will be done by your Unconscious a little later. It’s good and wonderful in any case, and the fruits will not keep you waiting. Bring your hands together and bring them to the solar plexus. Feel what is happening in your body and soul.
