Imagine that at birth a person is given eyes. Eyes look at the world and ask questions. But those around you, close people, don’t like these questions; they are unpleasant to them. And these close adults blindfold little people with their ideas like thin silk handkerchiefs. Perhaps adults say that they are protecting children’s fragile eyes, but in reality they are protecting themselves from unpleasant questions. How does this happen? A baby or toddler asks: “Where did I come from?” and receives a patterned handkerchief with the “Stork flying over the cabbage” ornament over his eyes. Nothing is clear, but the pattern of the scarf makes it difficult to look in this direction. Then the child asks many more uncomfortable questions and receives many other people’s patterned ideas about what and how it “should” be. All these patterns, overlapping each other, create a chaotic ornament that distorts vision so much that a person becomes almost blind. And when his child asks him a question about what he doesn’t see behind this drawing, he gets nervous and covers his eyes with the appropriate handkerchief... This is how a person wanders through life, blindfolded, bumping into objects and other people, suffering from pain , disappointment and aggression. Why do I talk about this in “The Slim Girl Diaries”? Because a person's eyes are closed and his mouth is open. And if you can’t see it, you can taste it... And if life is full of pain and disappointments, then you can sweeten it with something tasty. And when his mouth is busy with food, he will no longer say anything unpleasant or dangerous to his neighbor, husband, boss, or you never know who is jostling nearby in the twilight of the patterns of obligations. And you can also not notice your own excess weight for a long time, until shortness of breath, hypertension, diabetes mellitus begins... Of course, in order not to see something scary or unpleasant that can hurt, you can close your eyes. But then how to protect yourself from this? Imagine you are walking along a real road blindfolded. How do you feel? Fear? That's right, it's dangerous. And if you chew eclairs, sausage, shawarma, or cake at the same time, will the danger decrease? What if you take off the blindfold and look around? Yes, you can find a quiet place and mark a protected road. How can you understand that there is a blindfold on your eyes if it is already familiar and is not noticed at all? If you talk about yourself: I'm tired! I don't know what to do... I'm confused... I don't know what I want... Or if you talk about others: No one understands me! The whole world is against me! Life is terrible ...This means that you do not see the world around you, but only the patterns on the bandage... . How to see the world? Start with yourself. Take time for yourself, seek support from like-minded people and professionals - psychologists.
