From the author: For a year now I have been writing notes “Diaries of a Slim Girl”, and now for me this is no longer just an advertisement, but a special space for reflection and experimentation. I would be interested in receiving feedback from those who read my notes. What do you think about the topic under consideration? Forrest Gump, in the movie of the same name, once said that life is like a box of chocolates... and each candy has a new filling... I like this idea. After all, if my life is in my hands, and I know that it is full of chocolate, I can be surprised and enjoy all its surprises. Maybe some filling will not be to my taste, but it is my choice whether I swallow it or spit it out. I can also decide with whom I share my candies. And if suddenly, the one with whom I share them has an allergy to chocolate, well, it’s not fate... I’m always ready to accept a treat from another person who shares candy from his box, because it’s impolite to refuse a gift... But I decide that What should I do with this gift, eat it or put it aside? And also, dear slender girls, when life is full of “chocolate”, you can relax and enjoy it yourself. And there is no place for overeating in life. Because there are many, many opportunities to try different fillings! And, you know, sometimes the next candy looks so inconspicuous, ordinary, and it even seems like I’ve already tried a lot of these candies. And she will suddenly surprise you with a magically delicious filling. Then you can rejoice, realizing that what seems ordinary can be filled with miracles. And this is a simple miracle. It’s like when a loved one, dear to you for a long time and already well recognized, in response to your irritation, suddenly says: “What’s wrong with you? You feel bad? I can help?". Or how to look at a sworn colleague who tirelessly frays his nerves all day long, and see that his jumper suits his eyes, and his face is so tired, tormented. Yes, it’s probably hard to get angry and fight in a rage trying to harass you... Poor thing... And even when the baby, in line at the supermarket, smiling, looks you straight in the eyes. It looks so simple, sitting in the cart among the shopping... I want to believe that each subsequent candy will be tastier than the previous one. And even the most tasteless, bitter filling is still candy, chocolate. It’s good that it’s customary to give sweets on New Year’s Day. You can so easily give a miracle to any pleasant person. In the new year, you can breathlessly try each new day, like a new, best, most expensive candy... Sincerely, Elena.
