I understand you. How uncomfortable it may be for you to talk about yourself. Go into your feelings, emotions, experiences. I understand your state when it seems to you that this is pointless and will not help. I understand how scary it is to appear weak and vulnerable. Or express anger, aggression. I understand when everything inside is screaming, wanting to be heard, and you pretend that everything is fine. I see and feel. I conduct martial arts training for children. Previously, I thought it was a mistake to let my parents watch the training. But now I am grateful to this experiment and these people. Each workout is a miniature of life. It is important that it is not staged, but real. With real parents and their children. In two hours the whole bouquet of emotions rises. From tender warm feelings to bitter tears, hysterics, hatred. I dare to imagine how children are raised in the classroom. Because I see what is happening inside. Often parents suppress the child’s feelings and report that he cries always and everywhere. That he should get ready and go to “fight”. That he is clearly something different. Look, Petya makes a better throw and therefore wins often. Showing verbally and non-verbally that you are a hero when you succeed. Or a nonentity, when things didn’t go the way I wanted. Children read states very well. The main question is: how will their psyche perceive such a message? Most likely, this will be a great defense to understanding yourself, your feelings. And most importantly: be able to express them. Prohibition of healthy aggression. Perhaps the parent will never know about the consequences of such embedded programs. But the likelihood that it will be passed on to their children’s children is very high. I don’t judge this, but I have great respect for every parent, because they also went through something. Inside everyone lives the same child and was raised somehow. I like watching children when their first steps are accompanied by a powerful emotional charge. I admire this self-confidence gifted by nature. This burning desire to explore the world, interact with the environment, be in contact with what is happening here and now.
