Sand therapy is one of the art therapy methods that has become interesting and very close to me. The secret of sand is that it reveals secrets. Sand is famous for its healing properties and there is probably not a single person who, when interacting with it, would not feel relaxation in the body, how negative thoughts have disappeared somewhere, how the soul becomes light, warm and calm. Everyone loves to interact with sand: both adults and children. Remembering my childhood, I really loved playing with my friends in a pile of sand. She built castles, palaces, caves in it, we made secrets. In the game we turned into princesses, dreamed, created. How great is this! If we remember the sensations that any person experienced on the banks of a river, lake, sea or ocean, then no matter what burden of problems and unpleasant sensations he came with when interacting with sand, even just touching it in his hands, plunging his hands into it, looking onto the surface of the water - everything bad dissolved. Sand therapy is a unique method that can be used to work with any topic. When a client builds his field, his space, he immerses himself and his subconscious. If the client is not ready to touch the sand, it means that he is not ready to look deep into himself, perhaps it is very painful or very scary. Accompanying the client on a journey to his true and real self, the psychologist needs to be very delicate, listen carefully to the client, what he says about the figures, how he sees them, without imposing his opinion from the position of existing knowledge. Only the person himself knows how to live, what is right for him and what is not. The author of the “Dynamic Sand Therapy” method is Galina El. Getting to know her during my studies greatly changed my worldview. I went through all the techniques that I now know myself, I felt them myself. What is its essence? And the fact is that the client can get answers to his questions already at the first session. Transform your fears and anxiety into resources, anger and resentment into gratitude. To solve some difficulties, one session is enough. After rebuilding its picture, the subconscious will see changes, and the transformation process will already be launched. Everyone has their own. For some, changes begin faster, for others slower. A session begins with a client request. By building a landscape, choosing figures that attract, a person begins to gradually recognize himself. The sand field is a projection of our unconscious. Answering the therapist’s questions, thinking about what an element of the landscape, figures, color means to him, a person may experience different insights. He himself finds answers to questions, finds ways out of difficult situations, accompanied by a psychologist, a sand therapist. In a session, everything is important: how the client stands, his gestures, facial expressions when constructing and responding. Where does it stand in relation to the sandbox. During a session, it often happens that the cause of difficulties at the client's request turns out to be completely different from what he thought. From practice with one client, the request related to the difficulties of relationships with a child, but while exhibiting her painting, she found herself alone in it. Alone in her house, no children, no loved ones, no people. And she herself is somewhere in the house, away from everyone, not wanting to see anyone. There were many themes in her painting, and the most important thing in the discussion was what she saw. The client hoped that everything would be resolved in the future, she wanted order in the family, but no one was around, she herself was frozen, without strength, did not live in the present, did not resolve issues here and now. After the session, she realized that she first needed to put things in order within herself. Bring back harmony, revive lost feelings, live through buried emotions, and be filled with love. One of the very interesting techniques, the author of which is Galina El, is working in a black sandbox. The black box is a look into the dark unconscious. It is dark in it, in it our shadow side, which is rejected, is not accepted. In a black box you can work with fears, anxieties,?
