Psychologist Evgeniy Petrov once asked a question on the forum: “What should a modern psychiatrist be like?” I remembered Dr. Igor from Paulo Coelho’s book “Veronica Decides to Die.” In my opinion, the doctor (and also the psychologist ) must be brave, be able to take risks, be able to hear the patient (client) and fulfill his wishes at the beginning of treatment, in no case contradicting him: the patient wants to die, as Veronica wanted it - let him die, under the vigilant supervision of the doctor, of course; wants to go crazy of his own free will - don’t bother him; the patient's relatives want to think in stereotypes - and this is welcome. But when they are fed up with all this, then the healing process will begin. “He who endures to the end will be saved.” Who can know more and better about a person than he knows about himself? Only God. I recently re-read articles by psychologist Natalia Filimonova (RIP) on the b17 website. Doctors discovered inoperable cancer in her in 2014, she was denied treatment, and was recommended to seek palliative care, because... According to doctors' forecasts, Natalia had only a few months to live. But... Natalia decided not to give up and live, no matter what, and soon found doctors who agreed to treat her and gave her another 7.5 years of life. And somewhere in a hospital, a patient under 100 may suffer from being forcibly “treated” and force-fed. “Please give me peace of mind,” he asks doctors and relatives. But they don't give it. Someone really wants to die at home, but ... relatives do not take him from the hospital, although they have every opportunity for this. Someone wants to live in a boarding school, among people with the same diseases or problems, but ... relatives do not allow - “what will people say?!” Sometimes even in a store a person is not given what he wants! One day my coat was practically taken away from me at the checkout because... the seller and two buyers decided that it was too big for me! But... I went to the store to pick it up the next day, it was waiting for me there, and I still bought it :) But now I can’t find a suitable dentist. Oh! But I didn’t understand before how it is that some users of the b17 website only after a while see that the psychologist they turned to is not suitable for them, and they write about it on the website. And then... you come to the doctor, tell him that everything is complicated for you (and he sees it himself), and instead of saying that he doesn’t work with “difficult things” (he doesn’t want, he can’t, he doesn’t consider necessary) begins to fool you until you come to your senses and realize what is really happening. And somewhere there is a doctor (psychologist, or someone else) who can give a person exactly what he needs. There are countries in Europe and Asia in which children up to a certain age are allowed to do whatever they want, giving them complete freedom, while, of course, taking care of their safety and the safety of other people. Sometimes such permission is necessary for adult “children” of any age. Once upon a time, Francis of Assisi healed a seriously ill man who cursed everyone who tried to help him. He gave him what other people could not give - Love, and a miracle happened, the man recovered - both physically and spiritually. There is such a psychologist with the wonderful surname Bozheday. You pronounce your last name and at the same time pray :) God, give the opportunity to meet people who are looking for each other! When you stop appearing, you turn out to be yourself.
