We work with a wonderful, kind, interesting, beautiful, creative girl with whom I feel on the same wavelength, which undoubtedly brings a clear synergistic effect to our interaction. We have already worked on many topics, cleared away the rubble. And Alina and I got to the topic of money. This is what I will call my heroine, whose permission to publish has been obtained. Alina lives abroad, in one of the Asian countries, she moved there on her own, without anyone’s help, teaches English to children there and develops - gets promoted as a photographer. She lives on what She earns money herself, rents housing, and travels whenever possible. She has no shortage of attention from men, and now she is in a relationship. In general, she has enough money to live on. But they are always close together, it is not possible to put off the “safety cushion”, and even if it is possible, then Alina will still, having been subjected to some next temptation, get into this money, spend it on something seemingly exciting and very necessary, promising imagine that she will replenish her cash reserves in the near future. And so on in a circle. And what she once again spontaneously spent on does not bring the expected joy; on the contrary, it causes a feeling of guilt, wasteful expenditure, and often lies idle, sarcastically reminding Alina that she is squandering her hard-earned money wherever she goes. Her free associations on the topic of money were as follows: Positive: Money is freedom, comfort, travel, safety, care. Rich people are calm, tired, tanned. Negative: Money is corruption, lack of freedom, hostage. Grandmother about money - it’s hard to earn money. Mom about money in answer to a request to buy something: no money! Alina and money: - little money; - make ends meet; - it’s hard to earn money; - like sand through my fingers; - I don’t know how to save; I will always find something to spend on, like my father, a holiday man; - a black hole, a sucking funnel. I asked Alina to imagine what kind of black hole it is, where she feels it in her body. She felt the black hole as a pulsation in her head. At my request, she imagined this black hole on a chair, mentally entered it and answered the questions that I asked her. And what did Alina see? And she saw herself, a girl, at the age of 5-6 years. Mom sent her to the store to buy bread, milk, sausage, and gave her a banknote. The girl asked her mother if she could buy some sweets to spare. The kind mother allowed it. Happy Alina came home with groceries, as well as lollipops, sweet soda, Snickers, chocolates and other “riches.” Mom became very angry and scolded her daughter, telling her that it was the last money. And she sent the girl back to the store to return all these “treasures.” Alina was scared and ashamed in front of her mother, in front of the saleswoman, who (oddly enough) took these sweets back from the girl and returned her money. The girl was also very sorry to part with her “treasures”, which she did not even have time to feast on. I will not write the details of the work, it is clear that we supported the inner child, etc., and that there is a black hole in my head at the thought of “wasted money”. Alina did not appear again. But the fact that the girl was unconsciously trying to spend her money quickly in order to have time to get pleasure from it, and instead of pleasure she received a feeling of guilt, became obvious to Alina and me. These are the stories, literally from childhood, that continue influence the life of an adult until he discovers them, brings them into the light of day and gets rid of their influence - in this case, by working with a psychologist. Because it is impossible to do such “excavations” on your own. After the session, Alina additionally supported her inner girl with a heartfelt letter to her from herself as an adult, full of support and love.
