Seems strange, otherwise the BMW warranty is really being taken advantage of. Did you understand the DTM with the tune? Have you tried it in stock? If so, you still got DTM??

monique21 (330hp) | Yes, I still have DTM as standard equipment. I took off level 1 and restarted several times. There is definitely a cylinder missing.

oleg-andry (833hp) | Hello everyone, I hope everyone is well. I'm in the process of purchasing several mods for my car, including a catless downpipe. This may be asking a lot, but is there anyone who has an F10 535i with a catless downpipe installed that I can ride in? I'm in the LA area (I hear mixed things about the smell and want to know first hand how bad it can be). If anyone is willing to do this, I would be very grateful! -Brian

25091996 (830hp) | I can usually get 400 miles on a 535, at about 50/50 city/highway.
|
Steelers1 (303hp) | Guys, an update. The dealer completely replaced the control unit. DME reprogrammed... now runs great. Has this happened to anyone else? I thought it was a normal injector or coil failure. Did this at 49,000 miles lol!

I highly recommend you post in the F30 section and find someone who has your engine (N55) but in the F30 with a downpipe - then you'll have a better chance of finding someone and they'll give you an equally good idea give. good luck

My Jag XFS was a diesel and still got pretty bad mileage. I got around 350 miles on one tank of gas and regularly spent £90 filling it up. Filling up my 550 with 93 octane in Houston cost me about $55.00. Americans are very lucky to have cheap gasoline. Living in the UK definitely put it into perspective for me.

schwarz (375hp) | What do you think of Dakota leather in Oyster Black or will you stick with all-black seats? Could someone please post some pictures of Oyster-Black?
|
music6 (115hp) | This is obviously a personal decision. Black is definitely more practical and simply looks good. I have black leather in my Mercedes E-Class and previously had it on a 535i. No complaints unless the car happened to be in strong sunlight (hot!). But it's a pretty predictable choice. Oyster/Black will obviously pay more attention to staying clean. It may be best to avoid orange or purple Gatorade in the car. You appear to live in Houston. My experience with Houston summers would make a good argument for a lighter color. However, the reason I like this color combination is because it looks interesting and classy. This makes the BMW look even more striking. (There's little chance you'll find it in the typical Accord or Acura, if that's important to you). Oyster is not quite as light (almost white) as it appears in these pictures. The one above is pretty representative. At the end of the day you have a choice: a) hides the dirt and is hot in the sun, or b) distinctive look + cooler in the sun + regular leather care is recommended.

|
rainbow08 (615hp) | I live in Houston, but since I have OCD it's not even a question... Most people who drive it park in a parking garage for work and park it in their own garage at home. Add a good ceramic window film and it's really no problem. On the other hand, the first time I see blue jeans stains on the side bolster of the seat, it's, let's say, a bad day...
|
pokeybritches (797hp) | Oyster Black looks very nice, but I personally wouldn't choose it. If you or someone driving your car with light-colored leather seats uses sunscreen, be careful—it leaves stains. Even if you wear dark colored leather, e.g. B. a dark brown or black leather jacket, you should also be careful - the color will transfer to the leather seat. For these reasons and because I have had experience with ivory-colored (not so light) leather seats in my Lexus GS, I chose black leather in my Lexus GS 535.
|
xfqybr (8hp) | I had similar seats in my Audi S5 and they were a PITA!!!!!! They looked great, but man, I don't miss them. Jeans (even expensive ones) were the worst! They left bruises almost every time. FYI...I now have a black interior.
|
andrei1 (207hp) | I have Oyster/Black on my car and wear jeans every day. Yes, it will be a bit spotty. However, I just wipe it with a damp paper towel every 1-2 months and it's back to normal. It's a VERY NICE combination and stands out from the other luxury brands. I am very happy with it.

I think the color is beautiful.

fuckyeah1 (492hp) | I had a black interior in my previous F10 (now my second F10), an all black interior in my C55, and an all black interior in my C43 before that, and an all black interior in my C36 before that. The all-black interior gives a sportier look, and yes, it allows one to be lazy when cleaning the interior. But I agree with LuvMyE92 here. Black just hides the dirt. It can still be dirty. There is nothing better than regular cleaning. The Oyster/Black combination gives the car a more sophisticated look. That's why I chose Oyster/Black this time and I don't regret it one bit!

addiction (762hp) | If you wanted (only) Oyster, then Oyster Black is a more practical solution to Oyster. The color of the roof lining is crucial. Oyster Black allows more light into the car and makes the finishes easier to see than All Black. All black is absolute camouflage, especially with the sunglasses. You can sit in the backseat of a black vehicle with the blinds up and no one will notice you are in the backseat in broad daylight. The problem is the headliner again. Sometimes BMW gives a black car a gray headliner. This reflects more light into the car than a black headliner, but I always felt like it didn't add up. Oyster Black on the F1 largely has a roof lining that matches the Oyster. That looks much better to me than black-black with a gray headliner. In short, if you want black black, make sure you get the black headliner if available. Otherwise, go for Oyster Black and make sure you get the tan headliner to match. The mismatched headliner (gray) with black-black interior doesn't work well for me. I love the look and feel, but I'm worried that in the future with kids I'll have so many scratches that I'll wish I had Dakota. I'm approaching a dark graphite exterior and black interior (I love the oyster/black but again I don't trust the passengers )

Still, the upholstery is fine. Most stains such as chocolate or mud can be easily removed with a damp cloth. The driver's seat is also fine, no problems with jeans.
|
08090809 (975hp) | I also have Oyster Black. All my previous cars had black interiors. I was also worried about maintenance, but the interior of the F10 is actually pretty easy to clean. Simply wipe with a damp microfiber cloth and it will be like new. I wear jeans all the time and have often left stains on the driver's seat. No problem removing the stains. Another advantage is that the Oyster look roof lining makes the interior visually more spacious. With the black one it's sportier but feels more cramped in my opinion.

pedro12 (152hp) | No problem. Get Oyster/Black. After my previous two Bimmers ('04 545i and '09 X5) were all black, it's the darkest interior you can find in a car. The M sports car, finished in Oyster/Black, has a completely black anthracite roof lining. He looks really smart.

jt1234 (298hp) | Just cleaned the front seats and steering wheel with Leatherique Prestine Clean last night. The bike was dirty. Both front seats were less dirty than the steering wheel. Oyster Nappa for me.

ssss (700hp) | jB is level 1 and JB4 is level 2. There is a big performance difference

Do you know if the JB4 Bluetooth kit works with the older JB version or only with the newer version like the JB4? I have the N63 BMS JB version... just wondering because the Burger Tuning people never answer your question.

qaz789 (842hp) | Hey, it's a shame I forgot to read the thread again. No, Bluetooth only works with jb4 and not with JB. Tell me if you are interested in selling your JB.
|
binladen (958hp) | Jb4 offers more power, better power delivery and lots of features and control for the user

baritone1 (445hp) | Too bad you have a 2011 for stage 2. I'm planning on selling mine, but it's harness B, not A.

BimmerLover98 (769hp) | I have the new JB4 Beta + BCM Harness A for sale in the classifieds

1dickhead (232hp) | I'm guessing this is for the 535i/xi? Which model number? There were at least two different PE models during the F10 535's life cycle. One clue is whether the tips are single-walled or double-walled.

I'm not sure about single or double wall tips. They are quite heavy, I would assume a double wall. It was bought late 2016

steveo1 (978hp) | The tips are single-walled with a flat insert. This is what they look like when installed.

jembut (233hp) | Hello, mine is sapphire black on the outside and oyster/black on the inside. The combination is stunning. I had to invest in a good cleaner/conditioner since we're on this topic so the car is also exposed to a lot of direct sunlight. It takes some effort to keep it clean, but it's worth it!
|
sas123 (342hp) | Oyster/Black definitely stands out more than any other interior color, it looks really good. I chose the black Dakota because there were problems transporting dogs (and hopefully children). If I wasn't worried about cleaning difficulties, I would definitely have chosen the Oyster/Black color. Sometimes I think that with the dark exterior (graphite) and black interior, my car looks a bit like I'm a budding teenage street racer.
