Personally I don't think the car has much. In contrast I may be selling the wheels soon to upgrade to regular 343M silver (alloy) wheels and low profile 20s are not my favorite lol

I wouldn't do it call it a bitch to clean it, it just depends on how much you like the car. 1118 (315hp) | Looks good! The rain has been insanely heavy, in Northern California we have made up for the 4 year drought, there has been enough rain in the last 4-6 weeks!! What products did you use for detailing? How did you wash? Have you considered applying a ceramic coating and then washing it with a foam gun/pressure washer? On a black car, these two things would be key to avoiding swirl marks.!!

dakota03 (696hp) | Hi guys, I just got a 2011 535i Non-M Sport. I'm looking for a diffuser. My question: What is the difference between an M-Sport rear bumper and a non-M-Sport rear bumper? Can I still install an after-market diffuser? If so, what can you recommend? Where is the best place to shop? Would I need to get the rear style bumper to do modifications/diffuser? Please let me know about your expertise!

2605 (82hp) | Hi everyone, I was looking for a 535i and came across the 2012 535i with 18,000 miles. The seller was asking $26,000 for it and his options are listed below. I looked at the thread http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=568011 for 2012 535i options but couldn't figure out what specific packages this car has and doesn't have. Can you please help me narrow down the packages available? I also know the 2014 LCI is better than the 2012, but I don't see any of them under $30,000 with less mileage. 010186 (744hp) | Quote: Originally posted by alibabu20 Are you saying it has DHP? What code/option is this in the above list? Also, what does S677 HiFi System Professional DSP mean? Harman Kardon Logic 7? Thanks, I misunderstood... It's S223 Electronic Damper Control (EDC). According to BMW... Quote: Electronic damper control. Electronic Damper Control (EDC) automatically or manually adapts each damper to the driving conditions, so you enjoy excellent comfort and the highest level of BMW safety on the road. EDC reduces fluctuations in wheel load, ensures excellent tire traction and counteracts body movements, regardless of the weight of your vehicle or the condition of the road surface. Sensors constantly monitor all factors influencing vehicle behavior and the comfort of the occupants in order to precisely adjust the damper control. In a fraction of a second, the signals are analyzed by the EDC microprocessor and commands are sent to the shock absorber actuators, which are variably adjusted using solenoid valves to ensure optimal suspension. Thanks to the electronic damper control, the nose tilts when braking is practically impossible. The influence of potholes and unevenness on the road surface is reduced to a minimum. In addition to increased driving comfort and improved tire rolling behavior, EDC also contributes to vehicle stability and safety. By reducing nose tilt during braking and improving tire traction, EDC shortens stopping distance during hard braking. Thanks to the damper adjustment, the vehicle chassis remains upright on the road even when braking with ABS and all four wheels have maximum possible contact with the road. Using the driving experience switch with ECO PRO, the driver can choose between different programs (such as COMFORT, NORMAL, SPORT or SPORT+) and adapt the chassis individually to his needs. S677 HiFi system Professional DSP. The HiFi radio is one step above the base. It features subwoofers under the seats, component speakers on the rear deck and front center (dashboard), a tweeter opposite the exterior rearview mirrors, and midrange speakers in the front doors. In my opinion it's not bad because a car is not the best soundstage!! I mean, the DSP has Logic7... I don't know, but if it has HK, there is a HK label on the front door tweeters.

seth (720hp) | Quote: Originally posted by alibabu20 Are you saying it has DHP? What code/option is this in the above list? Also, what does S677 HiFi System Professional DSP mean? Harman Kardon Logic 7? Thanks. It doesn't have DHP. It has half of DHP (223 – Electronic Damper Control, which means adjustable suspension for comfort vs. sport) but not active roll stabilization (2VA Adaptive Drive, the active stabilizers). Still good! The main options I can see from this list are: M Sport Electronic Damper Control, Sport Automatic Transmission (with paddle shifters), Comfort Access (fantastic - touch the door handle to unlock/lock while keeping the keys in your pocket. plus motorized trunk) Comfort Seats (also great, more adjustments than standard) Rear view camera with Park Distance Control (but not the overhead cameras, which are more) Navigation Heated seats Heads-up display HiFi system Professional is the improved Harmon/Kardon Stereo (but not the highest B&O stereo) BMW Apps (internet apps in the navigation screen) This is a very well equipped car!

Monkey Punk (492hp) | Your vehicle is equipped EXACTLY as mine was. In my opinion it's the perfect mix of packages you need and no extra bells and whistles. I would always suggest a newer year if the price is relatively the same. I can tell you that I purchased a 2013 vehicle, exactly the same options, 33,000 miles, for slightly more than your vehicle. Granted, I did almost double the number of miles, but the mileage per year is still less than 12,000 miles, so I wasn't worried.
|
friendsforever (75hp) | If a 2013 is in your budget, the key improvements are a new iDrive system (NBT) and the 704 M Sport suspension on the M-Sport 535 & 550.
|
Asdfghjkl1 (176hp) | How good or better are these 2013 iDrive NBT and 704 M Sport suspension compared to the 2012 ones? I think a similarly equipped 2013 535i costs $4,000 more than this. Additionally, the seller's current asking price is $26,000. At what price do you think it's a great offer that I shouldn't refuse? $23,000? Thanks

At what price do you think it's a great offer that I shouldn't refuse? $23,000? Thanks, I have a base '12 535i and just purchased a '14 CPO 535i M Sport (with 704). The NBT has better graphics and more options than the CIC '12. The 704 is much better (duh...) than the base suspension. I would be surprised if the 704 differed between F10 model years. The 14 is also the LCI, which adds some creature features such as: B. a CA kick to close the trunk.
|
madison6 (455hp) | The car does have the HK sound, but for some reason the 2012s don't have the word "Harmon Kardon" anywhere on the car. The clue is whether the car has a 7-channel equalizer in the I-Drive. Josparky (350hp) | Hi everyone, I was looking for a 535i and came across the 2012 535i with 18,000 miles. In this context, would you recommend 2013 rather than 2012? If yes, why? And would you recommend 2014 over 2013? If yes, why? What code/option is this in the above list? Also, what does S677 HiFi System Professional DSP mean? Harman Kardon Logic 7? Thanks

pentagram (900hp) | Quote: Originally posted by alibabu20 Are you saying it has DHP?

Harman Kardon Logic 7? Thanks. It doesn't have DHP. It has half of DHP (223 – Electronic Damper Control, which means adjustable suspension for comfort vs. sport) but not active roll stabilization (2VA Adaptive Drive, the active stabilizers). Still good! The main options I can see from this list are: M Sport Electronic Damper Control, Sport Automatic Transmission (with paddle shifters), Comfort Access (fantastic - touch the door handle to unlock/lock while keeping the keys in your pocket. plus motorized trunk) Comfort Seats (also great, more adjustments than standard) Rear view camera with Park Distance Control (but not the overhead cameras, which are more) Navigation Heated seats Heads-up display HiFi system Professional is the improved one Harmon/Kardon stereo (but not the highest B&O stereo) BMW Apps (internet apps in navigation screen) This is a very well equipped car!

miller22 (624hp) | Your vehicle is equipped EXACTLY as mine was. In my opinion it's the perfect mix of packages you need and no extra bells and whistles. I would always suggest a newer year if the price is relatively the same. I can tell you that I purchased a 2013 vehicle, exactly the same options, 33,000 miles, for slightly more than your vehicle. Granted, I did almost double the number of miles, but the mileage per year is still less than 12,000 miles, so I wasn't worried.

munchy (643hp) | If a 2013 is in your budget, the key improvements are a new iDrive system (NBT) and the 704 M Sport suspension on the M-Sport 535 & 550.
|
30051978 (825hp) | How good or better are these 2013 iDrive NBT and 704 M Sport suspension compared to the 2012 ones? I think a similarly equipped 2013 535i costs $4,000 more than this. Additionally, the seller's current asking price is $26,000. At what price do you think it's a great offer that I shouldn't refuse? $23,000? Thanks

The NBT has better graphics and more options than the CIC '12. The 704 is much better (duh...) than the base suspension. I would be surprised if the 704 differed between F10 model years. The 14 is also the LCI, which adds some creature features such as: B. a CA kick to close the trunk.

|
123098q (334hp) | I have sold a few at CL, but only if you have the time to meet and show the car to potential buyers. The sale may not or may take months to sell depending on how lucky you are in finding the committed buyer. Lately I've just taken the car with me to Carmax or trade in the car when I buy another one from the dealer with the mindset that I'll lose a few thousand dollars on the trade-in, but knowing I don't want to drive around any longer and show people the car and end up not being able to sell it for months, probably ending up losing the same amount of money because the car would lose value anyway due to accumulated mileage and age. And when I move on to the next car, I always enjoy the new car and eventually forget about the price of the car that I traded in or sold anyway
