facebox (420hp) | Hey guys, has anyone ever installed the 3D Design diffuser on a non-M5? I assume it's the same fit as the M5 diffuser on the M-sport bumper - I wonder if anyone has tried that. I prefer this look to the Vorsteiner version - I think the lines are cleaner. Thoughts? It's here

The usual stuff is blue and stains the car until you wash it. I think at least here in the US you can only buy the blue liquid, as some people may mistake the clear liquid for water and drink it. Therefore, only the factory filling is clear. I'm trying to make my factory fill last as long as possible...I just had over a year on the car and the dim light came on for the first time. 05091995 (153hp) | Last July, when I was picking up my car, my salesman gave me two pitchers of BMW all-weather windshield cleaner rated for -45°C. It's purple. It contains methyl alcohol. This seems to work very well. My favorite is Rain-X windshield washer fluid, de-icer, good down to -40°C. It also contains methyl alcohol, is yellow in color, and contains a "bittering" agent so no one will drink it. It adds a water repellent that significantly improves the wiper's ability to remove water. It will not frost on your windshield down to -40°C. It costs more than the blue stuff and less than the BMW brand above, but I use less of it and can definitely see better. I get mine on sale or at Costco.

10011976 (645hp) | A good windshield washer antifreeze should never freeze in the reservoir. If so, you need to mix it with water. It should be used at full power unless otherwise noted. Poor quality antifreeze can freeze on a cold windshield but never in the reservoir.

baseball (985hp) | The reason I would like the tank, not just the nozzles, to be heated is not due to the risk of the liquid in the tank freezing (if someone puts water in their tank it will be bad all around, like tanks would). then crack!), but this way the liquid penetrates the snow/ice on the windshield better! Just having heated nozzles can only do so much and just ensure that the nozzles are clear....

If you decide to mix your own, I recommend using distilled water to reduce the possibility that chemicals found in municipal water supplies will also add their own gunk to the system. I would definitely appreciate any thoughts from the community on whether it would be useful to add additional options (I still have about a week to go). to play with the final configuration of my command). Great spec! Congratulations! There is some conflicting information though... Judging by your post you have sports seats in the M package and comfort seats added below. I'd say you chose the latter, but perhaps you could clarify that one? Regarding additional options, I would only be interested in voice control and the HiFi Professional audio system (which is no longer the high-end system, by the way).).

party69 (173hp) | Yes, comfort seats replace sports seats. WRT voice command, do you know if you can speak web addresses to type them using it? BTW, does anyone have an opinion on the usefulness of the optional Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)? I think it would be very useful to be able to monitor the pressure in the run flat tires (which are the only tires that can be found here on 5ers in Australia) to ensure they stay at the correct pressure - I learned my lesson with my first set of RFTs 2 cars ago, when they wore out in less than 10,000 Klm because I hadn't checked that they were kept at the correct pressure (told me cost AU$2,600 to replace 4 tires - dealer wanted A$3,200 for the set!!!!).

lehman (870hp) | Congratulations, an impressive spec! I think you made the right decision regarding adaptive cruise control and night vision. Both options are ridiculously expensive (like most BMW options: BTW). I would highly recommend the second best Pro HiFi system (Dirac 600W). It's well worth the extra money compared to the others. The 351M wheels look great but I've already had two accidents parking too close to the curb - a downside with the low profile tires and wheels 19

Great spec! Congratulations! There is some conflicting information though... Judging by your post you have sports seats in the M package and comfort seats added below. I'd say you chose the latter, but perhaps you could clarify that one? Regarding additional options, I would only be interested in voice control and the HiFi Professional audio system (which is no longer the high-end system, by the way).).

cardigan (432hp) | Yes, comfort seats replace sports seats. WRT voice command, do you know if you can speak web addresses to type them using it? BTW, does anyone have an opinion on the usefulness of the optional Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)? I think it would be very useful to be able to monitor the pressure in the run flat tires (which are the only tires that can be found here on 5ers in Australia) to ensure they stay at the correct pressure - I learned my lesson with my first set of RFTs 2 cars ago, when they wore out in less than 10,000 Klm because I hadn't checked that they were kept at the correct pressure (told me cost A$2,600 to replace 4 tires - dealer wanted A$3,200 for the set!!!!).

now (507hp) | I've been hiding on all 3 tables for the last few months.... What are your comparisons, say....A7....CLS550....550i M-Sport.....both in terms of appearance and modding? I got out of an M6 convertible last year...and just jumped into an SL55 as a temporary car...but I'll be getting rid of it by summer. I like how a Dinan tune can take the 550i up to 500 hp and 580 torque (quicker than the SL55 and probably the E63/E64 M6). I haven't really looked at the Panamera as they are still in the 70's even for the bone models, let alone the S or Turbos. Why get that when you could modify a 550? I don't see many CLSs around...are they just not as popular as MB thought? I also doubt they have many tuning options. I wouldn't mind a CLS63...but they still cost $100,000. I just don't think the extra power justifies $40k more than a CLS550...everything else between the cars is basically the same. A7...I know Audi is the star at the moment...but I wonder how the ride compares to BMW/Benz. I also doubt there are many tuning options for this car. Jag I just don't feel it's a young person's car (I'm 32) and I rarely see them driving. Audi A8...same here...not sure if this is designed as a modding car. It looks nice...better than the XJ...but it seems the A7 is the more practical car than the A8. I had an F01 750li and loved the size.....
