So some overlap, but that was the order they were purchased in, I think? The Fiesta was purchased at the end of 1999, so 18 engines in 13 years. While talking to my wife, I forgot a few. But probably because they were never owned long or something... turb0mik3 (224hp) Hi folks, If you have the BMW Advanced Car Eye (camera) I'm about to get started, I'm on my 3rd parking bump, this one will cost me 450 euros to fix, so I think the camera will do the job in the future. The cops checked the security camera, can know the model and color of the car but not the Reg, if the camera was in my car it will definitely capture the Reg while parking, they also come with a motion sensor , then start recording if the car moves when parked. Few photos and technical details are available on the internet, but it's impossible to find the exact dimensions of the front camera, is it the size of an iPhone 4? I plan to install it as discreetly as possible. Thank you for any feedback.

steven08 (420hp) Have you seen the photos on this forum? http://www.bmw-sg.com/forums/elebest...ecorder-2.html I'm thinking of getting it too, but I'm a little hesitant because my dealer hasn't installed it for any customers and I don't I don't really want to be the guinea pig. So I think I'll just wait a bit until they get more experience installing them for others..

kongkong (442hp) Hi raleedy, my current dent due to paint damage on side panel and bumper, estimate 450 euros, car is also at BMW body shop for a few days, front and rear camera a bit less than 500 euros, add the last 2 each about 90 euros, I take the camera just to catch the asshole.

130577 (970hp) Hi e46tiag, my dealer has confirmed that BMW UK has tested the part for the front one and everything is fine but with the rear camera you need to be careful as you can see in your photos on the website you listed, I I have the automatic sun/blinds the blinds that appear on the rear window, the rear camera may not fit the gap between the blinds when raised and the rear window, my dealer is waiting for a response from the Germany on this subject. So I go for the front and add the rear only when BMW confirms no contact with the blinds once installed, in one of the photos you can see the blind raise and lean to go around the camera..

I completely agree with you on this point, you are right I risk getting nothing out of it, the law and the use of videos are simply not aligned, I am going on the basis if the big Ford Mondeo was driven by old people who didn't even realize they had made contact, once found they can just accept responsibility. On the other hand, here in Europe, insurance companies are starting to accept video evidence to support your story, and they also give discounts when a camera is used. In other words, insurance companies aren't waiting for the law to catch up with video evidence. , a case in London about a month ago in a car video was used for a hit and run at a traffic light intersection, the offender's crazy part after running the red light and hitting a car, he s went to a police station pretending he was the victim, the real innocent was lucky to have the camera on.

GnokGnik (510hp) Good morning. Any information on how to remove the five series plastic rear fan housing. Not the four zone style. THANKS

kissy1 (996hp) So, I was used to my previous BMWs blowing at full power when starting the car on a hot day - the system would blow at full fan speed until the cabin cooled down and slowly slow down the speed of the fan when it reached the target temperature. The F10, in comparison, doesn't seem to do that...or so I think. I always keep the system on AUTO and even keep the zones in sync all the time. I've noticed that it doesn't even matter if I lower the temperature to 65 degrees...the system doesn't seem to be in a hurry to cool the cabin (which doesn't make the fans spin any faster). If I really want to cool it down quickly, I have to press Max to do it. Any observations from other owners here? This is just a difference from what I'm used to on my previous BMWs..

This is just a change from what I'm used to on my previous BMWs. Lowering the temperature will increase the speed in automatic mode. I guess it all depends on the outside temperature..

winner123 (789hp) The fan speed intensity can be controlled by the fan speed buttons even in Auto mode. So actually you have 5 automatic settings to choose from. Increase this to mid or above and I think the system will behave more as expected..

I prefer to let the system run at lower airflows at a constant temperature, so just press the MAX button for those occasions when I want instant cooling. HighlandPete
