swag123 (981hp) | Hrrrm. So after reading these reviews I'm not sure if I want to get the Phillips Crystal Vision Ultra bulbs or the Hoen Xenon Match bulbs. Which one matches the original hidden headlights better and lasts longer? Seems like HID kits are too much trouble. I had another question regarding 35W vs 55W bulbs. I know H11 bulbs default to 55W. I just did a pre Msport conversion, so I have the Msport fog lights. Would the 55W bulb be compatible with my old wiring? Someone told me it's different since I used to have the h8 bulbs for non-msport so they might not be compatible. This doesn't seem right.

joseph08 (904hp) | The DDM tuning kit with error cancellers works on my msport fogs but as others have said it's hit or miss with them. I've already run two sets of these but they're so cheap that it didn't bother me. The lifetime warranty is a complete joke. You have to pay to send it back to them and then let them investigate the problem before sending anything back to you. It will cost you half the amount of a new kit just to ship it, so you might as well order a new kit. That's what they're counting on you to do. The warranty is a joke. What I did recently was swap the kit with a morimoto 5five kit from Theretrofitsource.com. So far it works great and seems to be of better quality throughout. The owner Matt is also very helpful and answers emails. My fog lights are brighter than ever with this setup and they actually help me see the road now. Alan

811026 (543hp) | I'm wondering what you have tried or would suggest as the best option to replace the stock Msport yellow fog light bulbs. The options I saw were xenon bulbs, Cree LEDs, and h11 hid kits, but I wasn't sure which one to get. The xenon was about $10-15 a set and the Cree or HID LED kit with error eliminator was about $50-60. There are so many brands of hidden kits too, so I didn't know which brand was reputable.
|
jose11 (333hp) | Don't even think about cheap HID kits. DDM and many others offer a lifetime warranty on certain kits made in China. I purchased several kits for my previous car (Infiniti G37x) for the fog lights and they always flashed and one or the other would turn off after a short period of time. Then you end up uninstalling, replacing, etc. It's a PITA. It doesn't matter if you have a switchboard, CANBUS, error eliminator, etc. I would opt for cheap, reputable brand CREE or blue bulbs, although they don't last too long either. I would only go with the Series 5 HID kit made by Philips. Genuine PHILIPS Conversion Kit ($269.99) plus Problem Eliminator WRN-CNSLR (HID Problem Eliminator Jacks for Serial HID Kit 5 2011+).
|
060592 (281hp) | You know that Philips does not make a conversion kit, i.e. made in Germany. They are all made in China. Therefore, you pay at least double or triple the brand price. At least you get a legitimate warranty from Philips.

All right. So don't use the DDM setting? I saw they had a good warranty on the h11 hidden kit with an error eliminator included for around $50. After researching here another member received the same ddm kit in 35W 5000K and said the color was close to the original hid headlight..

First of all, all their products come directly from China and it took 24 days to receive them. Within a week I started having random issues on both sides, like one of the bulbs not turning on, flickering on startup which is not supposed to happen at all according to them, etc. And in the end, one was completely extinguished. I had to go uninstall it (and pay for it since I don't have a ******* garage. Then I had to send them back to AC. Both ballasts were flickering and one went completely out, but they only exchanged one and sent me an old one again I didn't even bother to reinstall them I guess it's a coincidence with their products. really shiny and goes perfectly with the headlights, by the way, definitely go with a reputable and well-made set for a $60,000 car, that's my opinion...

They have more to lose if their products do not live up to expectations..

However, many people paint them to match body color..

Driver assistance concerns the driver's safety, awareness and vision of their surroundings. That's why it offers different camera angles, parking sensors, lane departure warning and blind spot. The multi-contour is a separate option or in the luxury seating package with the small active massage function and ventilation I believe..

I found out the hard way that the multi-contour seats are no longer supplied with the M-Sport package... I had almost finished my paperwork when I was sitting in the car while they went to get the approval. .this is what I have it's good I didn't test drive it but I had driven one before...it took another week but they found one packed like. I wanted it... well, almost packaged as I wanted it, I got the multi-contour seats but lost the soft close doors. I thought I might close my doors a little harder for a while, or sit in those ridiculously uncomfortable seats that look like the ones in the 328 loaner cars for the next few years....

I thought I might close my doors a little harder for a while, or sit in those ridiculously uncomfortable seats that look like the ones in 328 loaner cars over the next few years...I was going to have closing doors soft because I noticed the bit of difficulty getting them together, so my concern was that they would wear out when your random passengers are sitting in your car and they would slam it when you don't remember to remind them to each time and as the doors are solid, they can be well slammed. So it was a must for me not to have soft close doors, that's why I didn't get it. You know, I don't want to be afraid and go easy on a car that I paid almost $65,000 for, you know? I mentioned in another thread I created that a previous year Merc s550 had this feature and over time when people slammed the door it became a pain just to operate the soft close, because it was so weak..

ha1234 (805hp) | I guess when people talk about multicontour seats, they're referring to sport seats with better side bolsters and extendable leg support. The sports seat was standard. with the M-sport package in the US, but it now comes standard. seats. I just want to make sure you are aware of this before it's too late to change the order. Sports seat: Euro Alcantara, trim: Std. seat:
