anaana (818hp) | Hey guys, I'm about to pick up the OEM m-tech front and rear bumpers and the parts list that comes with them is huge. I was wondering, does anyone know if any of these can be reused from the non-M OEM bumper? According to realoem.com, the part names are the same but the part numbers are all different. Does this mean they cannot be exchanged? Does anyone have any experience with this? Here is m-tech http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...93&hg=51&fg=15 and non-m: http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...92&hg= 51&fg=15 Thank you!

arshad (437hp) | I did it. Well, you need all of them, and more. You will also need different plastic floor elements. I can't explain everything in detail (my English is not very good), but you need this: http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...80&hg=51&fg=95 and also some parts of this (you need to check which parts are for pack M (code:S715A)): http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...06&hg=51&fg=15 (very important) http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...73&hg=51&fg=75 http: //realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...06&hg=51&fg=75 http:// realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...74&hg=51&fg=75 Please note, some parts are doubled on the diagrams.

punker1 (542hp) | Have you seen the package they have? http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cfm?action=AccessoryCatalog&catalogid=4462&s iteid=214672&categoryID=166910 They have a complete kit. In front. Sides. Back. Ordering the package will eliminate the guesswork. Bravo for a great mod!

I just wanted to thank you for the links. The m-sport upgrade page was very helpful as it included a few things that the front and back m-sport pages did not have. I'm painting everything this week and installing it next time, I'll report back when finished with a detailed post, which should hopefully be helpful to anyone else looking to upgrade to the kit m- sport..

babyface12 (887hp) | Has anyone had this problem? I had a sign in the morning. I left my car in the garage all day and now it runs fine. Weird!!!
333eee (203hp) | I had one of my side cameras do this about a year ago. It started working occasionally and correcting itself, but it became quite complicated. I took it to the dealer and they had it for 2 days trying to fix it. Eventually they concluded it was a problem with the wiring harness and ordered a new one. I had to bring the car back when the harness arrived but once fixed it was fine. The point I'm trying to make here is that this could end up being a two-visit solution..

bitches12 (682hp) | i need to work on the brakes of my car and i would like to put my cars on 4 stands. My problem is that I don't know where the jacking points are on the F10? I don't know what to break. Any reference ?

paddyrx8 (839hp) | It's strange, but I noticed twice that my wife's 2012 F10 550xi had a small puddle of fluid (18 diameters, or so) in the garage drain under the trunk. Buildup tends to collect directly under the passenger side muffler. The liquid is a bit sticky – not like water, but not like oil. No noticeable smell (and I don't want to taste it). Has anyone else seen this, or have any idea what it might be? I live in Portland, Oregon and although we get quite a bit of rain here, both instances occurred in dry weather where there was no opportunity for water to collect under the car..
dima2000 (916hp) | Have it checked if I'm not mistaken the fuel tank is around the area in question behind the rear passenger seats perhaps due to the fuel pump.
maymay1 (986hp) | Mine does this too, I checked under the car and it's condensation, it's coming from the back of the passenger side exhaust muffler... it's not fuel, it's not oil, it's water condensation at least on mine....
Arfaznazer (98hp) | gpitts, if your wife does a lot of short trips it could just be condensation in the exhaust system..
28101991 (523hp) | Of course, this looks like normal exhaust condensation. I have it on mine too and since there is no smell it eliminates anything I can think of. As Xmen mentioned, this should only happen on short trips.
Dubbedoutbimmer (428hp) | Thank you very much for the answers! I'll ask him about the travel time, but his job is only about 6-7 miles from home, so you probably get the point. Neither its previous car (2.8L Z4) nor my current car (E92 M3) exhibited this problem, so I assume it is a design feature of the F.10.

In other words, my new 550 costs less than the list price of this year-old used 535. BMW setup says the bill for this car was $61.5 brand new. Considering this is a used car one model year old, you might try aiming for 52 000 $..

blackwidow (560hp) | $59k is pretty high for the 2012 535xi. BMW offered $4,000 incentives in July, so people bought the 5 Series for $8,000 to $12,000 below MSRP. Last week I ordered a 2013 550i with M sport, SAT, DDC, BMW app and heated seats for $350 on invoice, or about $63.5k + tax..
numb3rs (929hp) | you can get a new 2012 (if there are any left) for that price or better. I would say BMW has a $3,500 credit available on all remaining 2012 535s.

mapache (349hp) | Hey guys, please let me know what you think I should pay for this car at a local BMW dealership?? It's asking $59,000 2012 535i Xdrive Color: Arctic White Miles: 2,500 Premium Package M-Sport Cold Weather Technology Package Premium Audio Package
bumblebee2 (788hp) | $64K. Arctic White has to be the rarest BMW color of all. Should demand a large premium, don't let it slip away.
west1234 (503hp) | Really? Do you think so? I didn't even realize there was a difference between alpine white and arctic white..

I think arctic white is an MB color. To put things in perspective I am getting a brand new 2013 550 through ED with Msport, SAT, ceramic controls and sunshades and paying 750 on the ED bill. In other words, my new 550 costs less than the list price of this year-old used 535. BMW setup says the bill for this car was $61.5 brand new. Considering this is a used car one model year old, you might try aiming for 52 000 $..
gfgf (937hp) | $59k is pretty high for the 2012 535xi.
161995 (486hp) | you can get a new 2012 (if there are any left) for that price or better. I would say BMW has a $3,500 credit available on all remaining 2012 535s.

220907 (638hp) | The MSRP on this car is around $65,000. I don't think I'm going to give it $59,000, but doing a national search for M Sport 535xi, they seem to go for $50-$60 with about 10,000 miles, while this one only has 2, 5k. But what is a good price for the car? i like the color combination, it's in stock and i can physically see it.. i know it's not going to last.. what's a good price for an almost new car?? pepsicola1 (240hp) | The price seems high for a used car. Just a month ago people were getting almost 10k off MSRP on NEW 2012s, so... My 2013 was 500 over the bill, but with incentives it came in about 2,000 below the price charged..

Let's go there TODAY! $55,000 is about right, I'm assuming the car is a demo with 2,500 miles on it. If the MSRP is $65,000, the bill should be around $60,000. Since this is a demo, I would ask for at least $5,000 off. I think there was a $3,500 option credit available for the 2012 535xi, but it expired in October. 1.

time4me (112hp) | Hi everyone, I'm looking for a boot liner for my new 2013 F10 535d MSport - first time I put one in my X5 and never regretted it. The supplier I used then imports from the US and does not stock F10 liners locally, but is willing to obtain one from their US supplier (http://www.weathertech.com/bmw/2012/. ..1/cargo-liner /) so I was wondering if anyone on the forum had purchased decent trunk liners for their F10s and could let me know the suppliers so I could do a price/quality comparison? I appreciate any information - thanks.

030485 (463hp) | So I saw an F10 5 series yesterday and I loved it. I was near a dealership, so I stopped to check one out more closely. Once I sat in it, I absolutely loved it. BMW fixed everything I didn't like about the interiors of the E9x and E60. The dashboard now wraps around the driver a little more, the center console is raised, etc. It's much nicer than my M3. What is the performance difference between the two? Obviously, the handling will not be there due to the softer suspension and the additional weight. But in terms of direct acceleration, how close are they? The M3 is about as slow in a straight line as I can manage. If the 550i is close, I might have to get one. However, I don't think I really want an M5. A 550i seems to fit more with my preferences these days. Either that or I stick to plan A and buy a GTR – a totally different car, but like I said, I love the acceleration. The interior of the F10 is so beautiful that I can't stop thinking about how nice it was.

missthang1 (586hp) | The 2012 A7 has received a ton of good press. It seems like most critics favor it even over the current generation. 5. I'm in the market for a new luxury sedan and keep going back and forth between these two. What made you choose the series? 5?

letsfuck (67hp) | Hi everyone, I'm in Norway, and here the NV makes sense :-) It's really difficult to find a used F10 with Stop&Go, comfort seats, xd30-35 Oyster, AND NV! Has anyone done a renovation?, and is it possible? Kind regards, Kim
BimmersMania (567hp) | Have you looked at the BMW one - I bought the original BMW one - it cost Ј76 in the UK - it comes with a folding box and the sill protector.
530016 (928hp) | anyone know how i can order this M Performance front lip for M sport?
godchild (450hp) | The M3 accelerates a little faster.
66666a (262hp) | You can only seat 4 adults in the A7, the F10 comfortably seats 5. Plus, with equal configuration, the A7 cost at least $10,000 more than the 535, and Audi dealers didn't want to away from the MSRP, which made the difference more like $15,000 in actual price. Other than that, the A7 is a nice car...but not $15,000 better than my 535.
loxlox (423hp) | I guess that makes sense because of the long nightfalls? :P Anyway, I have the NV plus and it makes no sense to me. It's more of a distraction than a useful piece of equipment. It works on the navigation screen and although it's black and white, it's still bright and distracting for me. Often it will not detect pedestrians on the road, but will flash for those on the sidewalks. And even if it detects them, you'd have to look at the navigation screen to notice it - but who drives at night looking at the navigation screen? Just my 2 cents..

(I have no connection with the seller, I'm just a satisfied customer). http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BOOT-LINER...item4d04c2f19d PS - Although it's not widely known, with the E60 you can simply flip the entire boot carpet over to make it rubber upwards. My trunk floor was spotless when I returned the car.

whitefang (383hp) | 2010 M3 = 0-60 in 3.9 seconds (with Comp package) according to C&D. 2011 550i = 0-60 in ~4.9 seconds according to the same magazine. Oh, and don't compare the 550i with the GT-R. If you want a family sedan, go for the 5er. Sports car with some amenities but no usable back seat - GT-R.
161177 (786hp) | The Cadillac-style pop-up NAV screen eliminated the A6, A7 and A8 for me. I also don't think the A7 looks as good as its sedan siblings. I chose the 550xi because of the style, comfort, cost, technology and Dinan mods available. After 28 km there is still no noise or squeak (can't say the same about my previous A6) and often brings a smile..
