The term, which is pseudoscientific, belongs to the psychic Nancy Ann Tapp. This is how she designated children who allegedly had an aura of a special blue color - indigo. The concept of indigo children was first formulated in the book “Indigo Children: New Children Have Arrived.” The authors, Lee Carroll and his spiritual partner Jane Tober, later founded “Kryon light groups” and practice channeling (the practice of connecting with the Universe and people). Inflated self-esteem is usually provoked by the following situation: the child wants, demands, orders - parents allow, give, fulfill.
