Why do you go to a psychologist? Are you “crazy”? Can’t you cope on your own? Weakling! The fear of facing the devaluing opinion of loved ones most often becomes the reason for postponing a trip to a psychologist. However, it is important to remember that psychotherapy is just for healthy and completely normal people, like all of us or almost all of us 😉 If you are psychologically healthy, then you already realize , what a mess reigns in the head of every normal person! The wishes of relatives to “pull yourself together”, “go to work”, “play sports” - all this does not work if there are problems in the field of mental health. They don’t tell you that when your heart or tooth hurts. Psychotherapy is a tool designed to achieve emotional well-being, improve the quality of life, and strengthen mental health. People who turn to psychologists/psychotherapists for help demonstrate tremendous strength and openness , courage and courage to be vulnerable. Psychotherapy helps: - deal with life's challenges, - improve relationships, - cope with stress, crises, - get to know yourself and your limitations more deeply, - become emotionally balanced and stable, - live and improve your life to the fullest! Psychotherapy slows down, helps us stop in the frantic race for a “beautiful life”, reveals our reflexive reactions and behavior, helps us feel our personal boundaries and build them, find support within, strengthen our sense of self-worth... But psychotherapy may not be suitable for clients with a psychiatric diagnosis !Or as an auxiliary and supportive therapy in combination with medication. The reason for this is the limitation of perception and understanding. Some psychiatric conditions can lead to limitations in awareness and understanding of oneself and the outside world. In such cases, the client may have severely impaired contact with himself, with reality. In psychotherapy there is no measure of “healthy” or “unhealthy”. It's just a tool for working with our thoughts, emotions and behavior. After all, we are all looking for ways to be happier, right?🙌 Want to improve your life, grow personally and become more emotionally stable, psychotherapy may be just what you need !And if you doubt whether or not to go to a psychologist?
