Indeed, if at home it is sometimes difficult for parents to clearly talk about the rules of behavior for the child at home and strictly monitor their implementation, then in a kindergarten, educators establish clear, clear rules of behavior for children and monitor their compliance. The most basic mistake parents make is inconsistency in established requirements. For example, yesterday you had to go to bed at nine in the evening, but today for some reason you can go to bed at ten. Today my mother asks me to put away my toys, but yesterday I didn’t pay any attention to them. Yesterday the child was punished for violating some kind of agreement, but today “it turned out okay.” In kindergarten, children clearly know that during lunch they need to sit at the table, and during quiet time they need to lie in bed and not disturb others. They know that after playing, they always need to clean up all the toys after themselves. They know that after breakfast they will play. They know that when going for a walk they cannot go beyond the boundaries of the site. Discipline is a necessary quality to achieve any goals in later life. Discipline in kindergarten prepares the child for more stringent school requirements: sitting at a desk for a long time, preparing homework himself, following the rules of being in the classroom during lessons and during recess. Discipline allows a child to maintain a sense of stability and security because he knows what will happen if he breaks a set rule. He knows the natural consequences of his behavior and learns to take responsibility for his actions.
