Imagine a picture. A house. Private two-story house. Externally it is very presentable, the decoration is good, the windows are european, there is even a garden in the yard. Let's go inside. Euro renovation, expensive and comfortable furniture. But for some reason it feels uncomfortable. Let's take a closer look: there is a feeling of artificiality, there are artificial fruits on the table, plastic ones, some kind of doll-like interior items, a fake fireplace that doesn't heat up, dripping from the ceiling in the corner. Looking closely at the corners, joints, and moving the furniture aside, we see mold and rot seeping through the walls. And on the outside, upon closer inspection, we will see cracks, chips, and abrasions. There is a feeling that the house is crooked. And, like the Leaning Tower of Pisa, it leans towards the horizon. It's about the foundation. It was not laid with very high quality, with defects. The builders did this unintentionally. They just didn't know how to do it. They tried and were guided by how others were doing, and not by what should be done. Let's continue examining the house: the door leading to the cellar had not been opened for a long time, if at all. The door is overgrown with cobwebs, moss and rusted. If we still try and enter the cellar, we will hope to see supplies for the winter or aged wine in barrels, as a valuable heritage from our ancestors, but, alas, the cellar is, in fact, damp and deserted , there is no light, and a feeling of some kind of fear. If we turn on the flashlight, we will hear and even see rats scattering somewhere in the corners. If you look closely and don’t get scared, you can find someone’s skeletons in an old closet. It’s uncomfortable, dark, damp, scary, uncomfortable. Let’s go into the house. The kitchen smells of cigarette smoke and cheap liquor. Opening the cabinets, we see a mess: everything is piled up, there is only fast food in the refrigerator. The work office is a creative mess. On the table are various documents, glossy magazines, cheap books for easy pastime, romance novels. It is unclear what is being worked on at the moment. There is simply no work plan. Everything in the bedroom is externally clean, and even the pastels have been removed. But the bed, if you sit on it, creaks, sinks and you can feel the humps. There are even crumbs of food somewhere. And even in the closet in the bedroom, you can find your skeletons. What's in the attic? They rarely appeared there either. Lots of cobwebs, dark, and some rustling noises. If you shine a light, you will notice how the cockroaches scatter into the darkness. Some midges are flying around, and the window in the back barely lets in any light because it’s dusty and dirty. What’s it like in the yard? It looks like flowers, flower beds, a path to the garden. But when approaching the flowers, you can only see a few rows of fresh flowers, the rest is all artificial. There is an abandoned and dusty swing in the yard that has not been used for a long time. They just remind me of my childhood. It seems to be clean, but somehow abandoned and there is no sense of warmth. But the fence is solid, tall, impenetrable. Such fences are built when they want to hide from others, when they do not want to show their property and their lives to others. This is the fear and mistrust of the owner. The owner himself is constantly absent, rarely appears at home. Constantly visiting, at attractions, at meetings and parties. How do you like the picture? And this is reality. This is your picture. And this owner is you! The house is you. The facade is your appearance, your actions and how you want to appear. Just like the facade, you look after yourself, you are interested in appearing serious, personable and successful at any cost. The foundation is your beliefs, beliefs and values that you have inherited from your parents and relatives since childhood. We got the upbringing we got. And on the basis of these values, habits and rules that we have absorbed, we build our future lives. Few people think about reviewing their foundation for errors and defects. But they exist. Psychotraumas, events, phrases and incidents after which we felt shame, guilt, resentment, fear and anger remained. You just can’t see them, because they are hidden by a mountain of past years, events, attitudes that simply allow you not to remember the bad and find excuses for everything. The basement is your roots, your family, parents, family secrets and communication with relatives. Each of us has a basement that is not in the best condition. Some people have obvious problems with their parents, unforgiven and unaccepted childhood grievances. Others seem to have a good relationship with their parents, but if you remember, there will be events and situations in which you felt guilty, ashamed, offended and misunderstood. You seem to have forgotten these incidents, but they continue to live in you and are reflected in the fact that you cannot fully open up to your family, you feel guilty or debt to your parents. Your chest aches when you think about your family, about what you could have given but didn’t, about what they could have given you but didn’t. Each of us has our own family skeletons. Moments that existed, but we didn’t work through them. They just hid it so as not to interfere with life. And what’s important is that not only the skeletons of your childhood, but also the childhood of your parents make themselves felt. The family accumulates unsolved problems, which only create additional burden for the next generations. It’s unknown who will have the chance to work through other people’s mistakes. The kitchen is your source of energy. Your lifestyle, your eating habits. Most of us are negligent about our body and health. While we are young, we do not feel problems, the body compensates. We believe that we will always feel cheerful. But everything that you invest in yourself (literally and figuratively) will make itself felt. Everything accumulates and someday gives an answer in the form of diseases, low energy, poor health. Our habits will pay us dividends sooner or later. We don’t know how to live for the future, we don’t think about what our immediate desires will bring for us and our health in the future. We simply don’t know how to listen to ourselves and our bodies. Your office is your business, your activities and your thoughts. Not only do we not like to clean our desks, but we also don’t always know how to plan and like to plan when it comes to business. If you don't know where you are going, you will go where others want. It is difficult for us to set priorities, constantly keep our willpower in good shape and move in the chosen direction. We get scattered, take on everything in a row and agree to go on vacation, just to avoid doing tedious work. We don't know how to focus and give it our all. Only when the rooster pecks do we begin to twitch, otherwise we put everything off until later. Unsystematicity and confusion in the head give rise to the same thing in life. You do not control your life and your 1440 minutes in a day, but others (people, events, desires) control you. And the attic is your head, in which there is darkness, and cockroaches, and dampness, and a disorder of thoughts. If the roof is leaking, then there is no point in looking for basins and buckets. The roof needs to be patched. We often start to rush at a problem and try to solve the consequences. But we don’t even think about the reasons. The reasons are always in us, the reasons are always in our head. It is our thoughts, beliefs and attitudes that lead to what we have. We almost never inspect our attic. We do not remove the obsolete, unnecessary, ineffective. We do not like to part with our usual thoughts and beliefs. They are dear to us because they once served us faithfully. And we believe that they will continue to help us. We are conservatives, and this is dangerous. We don’t know how and are afraid to be flexible and admit our mistakes. It’s unpleasant, isn’t it? But exactly what you don’t like and hurts you is that ugly truth about you that you don’t want to look for in yourself. But there is European-quality renovation, there are fashion accessories, furniture, things in the house. Externally, the house is elite, beautiful and attractive. But not everyone sees even the external beauty, since a high fence hides the truth from others. The most surprising thing is that the owner is aware of the whole truth. He knows that his house is mostly just a beautiful façade. It’s scary, disgusting, unpleasant for him to delve into the disadvantages and shortcomings of the house. After all, you will have to admit to yourself, first of all, that most of the house is all about appearing, and not about being. And it's scary. And then change it all, fix it, fix it. Long, hard and.
