Why don’t you love yourself? Why do you hate? Maybe you hate your appearance. Maybe you think you have too many shortcomings. Maybe you are angry with yourself for the mistakes you once made. Maybe because you haven’t achieved anything in your life. There are many reasons not to love yourself. The cry of the soul of many of my clients is: “There is nothing to love me for!” But the paradox is that love does not need reasons. They don't love you for anything. They love no matter what. The point is that you can be beautiful, smart, rich and happily married. But at the same time, having an ideal appearance and all the blessings of earth, you may still not love yourself. As if you didn’t deserve it. And love doesn’t need to be earned. Love needs to be given and received. Loving yourself with all your flaws. Some people think that loving yourself means being brave, fierce, independent, and self-confident. In fact, it's just being yourself, feeling what you feel, and taking care of yourself. Loving Self-esteem means correctly prioritizing your desires and being able to build boundaries in relationships. Put yourself first. And this is not selfishness. After all, the energy of self-love is needed so that you can better care for those around you and spread your love to others. Self-love can manifest itself in different ways. There is no single recipe. Only you yourself know what you need to feel loved. What kind of care do you need. Some people just need to get some sleep, some need to be alone, some need to take up their favorite hobby. It could be something very simple. But it will bring you pleasure, joy and energy. You don't need a reason to feel good about yourself. You can simply start with one step, one action that supports you. And if you are not sure what that step is, ask yourself: what would I do if I loved myself? What would I do if I sincerely believed that I deserved love? And once you understand this, be sure to do it. And every night before you fall asleep, think about how you showed love to yourself today. And feel the warmth and energy of this love in yourself. And fall asleep with a smile. Looking forward to a new day. When you feel love for yourself again. And continue to create a wonderful life for yourself. For the person you love and closest to. ©Psychologist Larisa Aleksandrovna Solovyova I liked the article, like it and subscribe to the channel. Email [email protected]
