There are psychological reasons behind almost every debt or loan that leads to serious financial problems. These reasons must be identified and worked through, otherwise it will be very difficult, and in some cases even impossible, to close the debt and reach a different financial level. Let's discuss what may underlie such psychological problems and how you can work with it.✓ The psychology of the debtor is always is based on negative attitudes and states, such as: - a feeling of guilt (should, therefore is guilty) - low self-esteem, an attempt to assert oneself - various kinds of addictions - a feeling of powerlessness, weakness, helplessness, scarcity - fear of loss, lack, lack of money, and etc. Behind all this very often lies a psychological trauma, long forgotten and living in the depths of our unconscious. And the problem is that such traumas provide a number of psychological defenses that we project outward, thereby reliving negative states. Why? The psyche is trying to heal in such a strange way. As a result, we end up with repeating situations, without the opportunity to get out of this vicious circle. Unfortunately, for the most part, people simply become immersed in the problem and do not realize how exactly the situation can be corrected. Therefore, it is very important to identify the psychological reasons for your debts and gradually work through them in order to close the topic of never-ending financial problems. How to deal with the debtor’s condition? Of course, I would advise turning to a professional. After all, in this way you will cope with the situation faster and more efficiently. But you can also get started on your own. The most important thing is to recognize the problem and start working with it.1. Balance two states: debtor/creditor. A person who has debts and loans is consciously in the role of a debtor. However, you need to understand that the role of a creditor appeared in your life for a reason. From a psychological point of view, a creditor is a subpersonality that for some reason you do not accept and suppress within yourself. And as you know, those parts of the personality that a person suppresses, he projects outward, i.e. transfers it to other people or objects. Therefore, you need to accept this part of yourself and allow it to manifest itself in relation to others. How to work with a creditor's condition?✓ Write a list of who owes you what (you can take different segments of your life). For example: The boss or client must pay the salary every month; neighbor Lyuda has not given away 1000 rubles for two months; the husband/wife must comply with family agreements, and the children must obey, etc.✓ It is also very important to work out the position of the creditor through action, i.e. politely but confidently ask to repay the debt, pay the salary on time, and so on on the list. ✓ Write down what and to whom you owe in order to look at the situation from two sides. As a result, you should see and accept both positions in yourself: debtor and creditor. This will help balance emotions and further even out the situation with debts.2. Work through your adult part of your personality. Debt is a consequence of psychological trauma to some part of your personality. For example: there was little love and attention in childhood, you did not receive recognition from colleagues, some needs were not met, etc. Your own experience and those situations in which you coped well with difficulties and problems will help you work on your adult position. Ask yourself a series of questions for self-analysis: - What actions and abilities helped me overcome obstacles? - What qualities did I rely on then? - What strengths helped me in this? - What strategies did I use then? - What can I do? what have I achieved in my life? - What resource states will help me develop my adult position, etc. These two exercises will be enough for you to take the first step towards getting out of debt. The main thing is to realize the problem and complete the tasks. I would like to note that any independent work can be very effective, but you need to do this constantly until you
