It happens that we find ourselves in situations where they try to “pressure” us, manipulate us or show aggression. And many people, lost, do not understand or do not know what needs to be done, how to respond to an ill-wisher and get out of the situation with dignity. Indeed, this can often be difficult, but there are several techniques that can help in the fight against manipulation. We will look at one of them today. These are questions. On the one hand, they are simple, but, on the other hand, quite effective. Of course, they should be used within reasonable limits, in appropriate cases, taking into account the context of the conversation. But it is possible that during a conversation with a manipulator you can only deal with these questions. 1) Why are you telling me (“this” - hereinafter the context of the conversation is meant)? Why are you doing (“this”)? 2) Justify or confirm your words with facts. 3) What prevents you from telling me (“this”)? What is stopping you from doing (“this”)? What is stopping you from saying (“this”) to me? What prevents you from doing (“this”)? All these questions force the manipulator to think, look for explanations, and make excuses. As a result, he himself finds himself in an uncomfortable position and often rushes to retreat. We wish you success in the difficult struggle against manipulators. Protect your soul from their influence.
