From the author: “The son (daughter) has completely lost interest in learning, he doesn’t teach lessons, teachers complain... What to do? “But really, what to do? What to do? Let's start with the fact that before you “fix” something, you need to know where and what “broke”. The child does not study well. Why? Doesn't know how to study, i.e. does not know how to work with a book, does not know how to prepare for oral subjects, for tests, for exams, does not know how to manage time, does not know how to concentrate on one thing, reads slowly, does not read at all, bad handwriting, does not know how to organize his workplace, is often distracted , inattentive, poor memory, etc. .He doesn’t know how to organize his time in such a way that there is enough for everything and – as a result – he doesn’t have time to do anything. Gradually, the volume of undone becomes more and more, and the child simply “gives up” and prefers to do nothing at all: he still won’t have time. In this case, the child needs the help of elders: organize his work day in such a way that there is enough time for everything, calculate what time is spent on during the day - keep timekeeping for several days in a row, recording everything: telephone conversations, “doing nothing,” time spent for meals, on the way to school and home, etc. Fear: the child is afraid to answer at the blackboard, afraid to make a mistake, get a bad mark, afraid that they will laugh, will not listen, will speak ugly or incorrectly, that he looks bad , ugly (ugly), he is not the right height (too big or too small), he is poorly dressed, etc. In fact, there are a great many fears, among them many that seem funny and far-fetched to us, adults. But for a child, this fear is real, it paralyzes the child, preventing him from adequately perceiving himself and reality, distorting this reality. As a result, the child seems to be “frozen”; he is occupied only with his fears. Does he care about studying at such moments? The team in the class is not in the mood to study, and the child cannot resist the team. He doesn’t want to be an outcast “nerd,” which means that to achieve this, he will have to abandon his studies and switch to the interests and activities of his classmates. The worst option here is bullying a child by his classmates. In this state of affairs, of course, the best option is to change school or at least class. Conflict with teachers - no matter what the reason, there is simply a conflict, and the child cannot contact the teacher normally, adequately. Resolving a conflict effectively enough for both parties can be extremely difficult, but here a child cannot do without the help of his parents, even a high school student. Competent parental support is very important. The teacher shouts or talks loudly during class. And the child absolutely cannot tolerate screaming or talking in raised tones or loud sounds. Therefore, he is not busy studying, but overcoming the fear of a loud voice and screaming. If the teacher just has a loud voice, you can ask to move the child to the back of the class, to the last desk. The child does not understand the teacher’s explanations - also for various reasons: the explanation is not clear to him, he missed a certain number of lessons due to illness - gaps in the material, poorly learned previous material. And if a child cannot work in class, he “switches off.” and again a space. Here we need the support and help of parents: to explain, to “catch up” on lost time. You can hire a tutor for several lessons to make up for what you missed. The child is very active, energetic, “fidgety”, it is difficult for him to perform the same action for a long time, or even just sit in one place. In this case, it is necessary to develop perseverance and patience in the child. Another option is to collect puzzles, and this can also be done on a computer. It would be nice to do puzzles together with your child. A mother can teach a child various kinds of handicrafts, cooking complex dishes. The child lacks the ability to listen carefully to the teacher’s explanation, as a result - a violation of discipline in the lesson, educational material that is “overlooked,” and then.
