Oh my God! What stress! What stress! I can’t stand this! (South Park) It happens that a child due to some reason: teething, hyperreactivity, increased intracranial pressure, etc. doesn't sleep most of the night. At such moments, parents simply cannot find a place for themselves; they feel powerless, because the child is small and does not yet understand reasonable arguments. How should parents behave in this situation? There are no universal recipes, since all children are different and unique, but a number of recommendations can be identified: take care of the nervous system - let go of the situation. This is a common problem and there is no point in being nervous about it; if you feel that you can’t control yourself, switch: watch a funny movie, listen to music, drink mint tea, do handicrafts; try to walk with your child at least 2 times in the morning hours; if possible, sleep when the child sleeps; at night, by agreement, replace each other. Be sure to ventilate the room and do wet cleaning; before bed, play calm games with the child, listen to relaxing music, sounds of nature; it is advisable to stop your child watching TV/computer in the evening; it is possible to use aromatic oils such as: mint, bergamot, tangerine, lavender, eucalyptus, etc.; an hour before bedtime, you can also give your child a relaxing bath with chamomile, foam ; when rocking a child, lullabies are very helpful; do not forget about adequate nutrition of the child/nursing mother; the main thing is not to compare your child with other children, accept him as he is. The ability to withstand stress is one of the conditions for happiness. Most people succeed. You can handle this too! Good luck to you in raising your children!
