About 10 years ago, Bianchi’s song “This summer will be cooler than that summer” was very popular. She was so light and fiery, she encouraged me to dance. The lines from the chorus of this song are firmly ingrained in my head, sometimes I still remember: “If I don’t lose weight by the beach season, then I’ll go to the sea alone without the slender Zoya... I hate Zoya.” The lines of this song directly warn that if you If you don’t lose weight, then it’s better to go on vacation alone, so as not to look worse in contrast with your slender friend. As if you are not pretty enough yet, but Zoya is what you need. Naturally, if you think this way, it makes you angry, which is why the chorus ends with the words “I hate Zoya.” The clip is quite frank, maybe even a little vulgar, but at the same time, if you don’t think about the meaning, it can even lift your spirits. If you still think about the meaning, it becomes sad. It turns out that in order to go to the seaside, you need to not just decide who you want to go with and where. You also need to look at your friends, compare them with yourself: how much slimmer they are and how much better their figure is, so that, for example, you don’t get into an awkward situation on the beach. But the problem is that even if you lose weight by the beach season, there is a high probability that you will have time to find other shortcomings in yourself. Most likely, you won't be as happy with yourself after losing weight as you dreamed of. Constantly comparing yourself to someone else is a battle that cannot be won. There will always be people better than you in some qualities: slimmer, smoother skin and without stretch marks, eating what they want and not getting fat, etc. It is worth remembering that every person has advantages and disadvantages. The only comparison that may sometimes be appropriate and at least somehow useful is comparing yourself with yourself in the past. This makes it possible to understand what mistakes you made, what you did wrong, what you can do now to change the situation. If you treated yourself strictly for years, were overly self-critical, constantly compared yourself with others, then in one day you can change your attitude towards yourself difficult. But you can start this path today and in about a month or two you will begin to notice the first changes for the better. Do you remember this clip? What do you think about comparing yourself to others? Link to the clip: https://yandex.ru/video/preview/12326897307069552084 If the topic resonates, sign up for a consultation with me.
