My practice and the practice of my colleagues shows one interesting pattern. Only people who are doing well turn to psychologists. And either everything is fine with them because they turn to psychologists, or they turn to psychologists because everything is fine with them!?. In order to understand how it is and what this article is about in general, I will tell you in a nutshell about what is the basic scenario in a person’s life. The basic scenario is the definition of oneself, the world around us and the relationship between them. And there are only 4 such basic scenarios. They are indicated by the signs “+” and “-”. “+” - symbolizes a positive and positive assessment and can be expressed as “I am Good” or “They are Good”, in the latter expression the word “they” means the totality of all people and the unity of the whole world. And “-” is a negative negative assessment expressed by “I’m Bad” or “They’re Bad.” So, the first basic scenario “+/+” or “I’m Good” - “The World is Good”, this is the scenario of a person who is actually doing well , but that’s all, because people with this scenario have the assertion that in difficult situations you need to change. That is, a person with the basic “+/+” scenario, finding himself in a situation that burdens and burdens him, looks for an opportunity to change, become better and overcome difficulties. There are not many such people, and it is they and those who strive for such a position in life who become clients of psychologists, again, because they are looking for an opportunity to develop. In my personal opinion, this position is the most successful in life. There is another scenario similar in appearance to the previous position. This is the basic scenario “+/-” or “I am good” - “The world is bad”. A person with this position often suffers from arrogance and snobbery. In his worldview, he is good in all circumstances, and everything around him is bad. Even in situations where a person with this scenario fails, he blames everyone around him for preventing him from being successful and happy. When such a person faces difficulties in life, he “kills” his loved ones with accusations and reproaches. Such people do not go to psychologists and do not engage in personal development, because they believe that they are already good, and all problems come from other people. Driving problems into yourself without paying attention to them leads to serious problems. The next option is the reverse of the previous one. The basic scenario “-/+” or “I am Bad” - “The World is Good” is very common in our society. A person living in accordance with this scenario often likes to be a victim in different circumstances, and it is not easy to be for some reason, but to make oneself a victim by attracting the approval and love of others. Problems are good for him; they are loved and pitied for them. And you can’t get rid of them under any circumstances, because by getting rid of these diseases or constant failures on the personal front, he will get rid of what he thinks they love him for. In reality, the victim is loved because he is worse than others, and he must show his desire to achieve something, otherwise he risks causing boredom to observers. When faced with real problems, people “kill themselves” with excuses for their inability to do basic things in life and turn into chroniclers. And these people also won’t go to a psychologist for no reason. The fourth scenario is so specific that it is not so easy to describe in words. The basic scenario "-/-" or "I'm Bad" - "The World is Bad" smacks of something schizophrenic. And this is truly the most destructive scenario, which turns a person into an inactive creature, and if active, then to no avail. The main idea of this scenario in difficult situations is to escape, and if it becomes impossible due to the scale of the situation or for some other reason, then it’s madness. And note the madness without quotation marks in the literal sense of the word. These people don’t go to a psychologist because they think it can’t get any worse.
