If you are interested in the topic of dreams and want to try to look at your usual dreams from a new perspective, try these simple and accessible exercises: 1. Give the dream a title.—Write down your dream in detail and come up with a title for it. Anyone, as if it were a story. - Tell your dream to a friend or acquaintance. Ask him to give a title to your dream. Let him tell you this: “If this were my dream, I would call it...” You will find that, most likely, other emphasis will be made that you initially did not notice and missed. This will expand your understanding of what you see. Of course, the more people you tell and they give the title, the deeper you will go into your dream and notice what is repressed. 2. What would this dream mean to someone else? You can expand the previous exercise a little. Tell your dream to a friend or acquaintance and let him say what this dream would mean if he had a dream. He can start the feedback with the words: “If this were my dream, it would mean to me... and I would pay attention to...” It is important to remember here that when a person responds and explains the dream of another, he always talks about himself, not about the dreamer. And at the same time, this can help you look at the dream with a fresh look and notice new shades of familiar images and plots.3. Everything that I see in a dream is part of me. You can first write down your dream, then retell it out loud to yourself. For example: “I dreamed of a room, in the room, there was a table, there was a book on the table, etc.” After that, retell it out loud again, adding to each element the phrase “which is part of me” It will turn out like this: “I dreamed of a room that is a part of me, in this room, which is a part of me, there was a table, which is a part of me, on this table, which is also a part of me, there was a book, which is also a part of me, etc.” It is important to say this out loud. The sensations from what you saw in a dream will change greatly, new shades of perception will appear.
