From the author: An effective and simple exercise for achieving emotional stability. And in the black memory, rummaging, you will find gloves up to the elbow, And the night of St. Petersburg... A. A. Akhmatova. Do you remember THIS? Do you remember how you were overwhelmed when once a year you took out that treasured box of New Year’s toys? “I can see in your eyes that you remember!” Silver and gold tinsel, glass and sparkles and the naturally occurring subtle smell of tangerines, and a Christmas tree that is twice as tall as you, and the expectation of only good things, and breathtaking anticipation of the holiday. Amazing, right? So many years have passed, but the feeling is still the same: joy, warmth, expectation of a Miracle. This is one of the memories that warms you, gives you strength, hope, and teaches you to dream. This magic box was created for us by our parents. But “the years flew by with the springs - we became adults long ago...” Now we ourselves can create a new source of “magic” for ourselves and for those who are dear to us. A long time ago, when men wore hats and ladies wore fluffy dresses, when they wrote with ink by candlelight, chests, caskets and caskets were an indispensable attribute of furniture. Every child understands that the most interesting, important and mysterious things are kept there - in the chest, in the attic, on the mezzanine. What was stored there: from great-grandmother’s festive dresses to wedding candles! They didn’t put just anything in the chest! No, only worthwhile, good-quality things or what was kept as a memory and passed on by inheritance. The chest is a repository of family memory. Unfortunately, this is a thing of the past - bulky furniture is not in fashion. Memory is also not in fashion. And the Joy of life slips away, flows away. Some scraps of it - photographs, notes, souvenirs - lie scattered in closets, on shelves, in bedside tables... Each of these little things contains a huge resource of “good memory”, but separately they can do little... Let’s start right now create your own Memory Box or Casket of Precious Events? We will need a box or just a box that you like. The main condition is that it will be only yours, and only you will decide what to put there: a letter from a person dear to you (the email can be printed), a few, but not many, of your favorite photographs, a pebble or a dried piece of paper as a memory of the trip, tickets for a performance or to a museum, jewelry that is dear to you, beads, a bracelet, “signets up to the elbow,” a bottle of perfume with which the most important event is associated, a notebook or diary of the happiest year of your life, a note from a child written in block letters : “MOM I LOVE YOU”, a ribbon from your favorite bow - it doesn’t matter whether it’s yours or your daughter’s... maybe your gold medal - and why not? In a word, everything that gave you Joy. Place these material Tokens of Memory in your Box. Fill it. Make your own “basic summary” of life. In my opinion, the selection of such Memory Treasures is associated with the most important human ability - the ability to be grateful - to God, loved ones, fate, and oneself. You can open the Memory Box in the case when “there is stone in the heart and cold in the chest,” or, on the contrary, when “the ice melts and the heart melts.” Precious memories will give you strength and warm you no worse than the same box with New Year's toys warmed you in childhood. This recipe has been tested for centuries! An important condition. Open only 2-3 times a year! So that the magic doesn't fade!-
