Confidence plays a crucial role in our careers and affects our personal well-being. Let's take a closer look at why this happens: 1. Confidence helps to overcome the fear of the unknown and risk, which allows you to take on new tasks and responsibilities at work, and as a result, professional growth. 2. Confident people are able to demonstrate leadership qualities, professionalism and self-confidence, which makes them more attractive to employers.3. Networking - Confident people find it easier to get along with colleagues, start new projects and create strong business connections.4. Decision making: Confident people are more willing to make decisions and take responsibility for them, which can be important for career growth.5. Effective Presentation: In negotiations or interviews, confidence helps you speak convincingly, demonstrating your knowledge, skills, and winning over yourself. Thus, confidence can significantly affect career success, helping you make decisions, interact with others and achieve your goals. But often we forget that confidence is not just a state, but a skill that can be developed and strengthened. Let's check your self-esteem, see how many points you can find?✅Are you aware of your strengths, successes and can you take credit for them?✅Do you compare your results only with your previous successes? ✅Do you compare yourself to others?✅Are you ready to openly share your ideas and defend them if necessary?✅Do you admit your mistakes and take responsibility for them?✅Are you not afraid to make decisions and understand that the responsibility lies with you?If most of the answers are negative, then Confidence can be boosted. Below are a few ways to help: 1. Make a rule of evening gratitude to yourself. After all, success is a consequence of your previous steps, your conscious choice, your knowledge and experience.2. Try the “Success Story” exercise. Write down 3-5 of your achievements in life, using the formula “I used to be afraid..., but now...”. For example: I used to be afraid to speak at a meeting, but now I speak in public and people listen to me with interest. Try to remember what exactly helped you overcome your fear and achieve what you have now. What qualities helped you.3. Remember that smiling gives you confidence, smile more often.4. Conduct a 360 assessment yourself. Make up three to five questions, the answers to which will help you look at yourself as a professional from the outside. At least one question should concern your strengths. Then ask 3-5 colleagues or managers who are authoritative in your eyes to answer them. You are guaranteed to receive feedback that will increase your self-esteem.❗Conclusion: Self-confidence helps you realistically assess your skills and knowledge, set achievable but inspiring goals, and move forward at the right speed towards your goal. ❕In consultations with me, you: explore your goals in detail, highlight your strengths that help you, take credit for your achievements, form an effective plan to achieve them and move towards your goal).
