From the author: Hello! In this article, the author examines the issue of mutual understanding during a quarrel between a woman and a man. How do you cope in situations of quarrels and violations of your boundaries? Have a nice and delicious reading! How to quarrel with a man correctly if he violates your personal boundaries or jointly developed rules? There is already a hidden pitfall in the question itself. I am a psychologist for healthy relationships, where there is more room for partnering and respectful relationships than for manipulative forms. It is important to hear each other, even if the women and men are not the same. There is only one rule - speak clearly about your feelings and needs, and try to avoid your partner’s value judgment. For example, there was an agreement not to get into each other’s smartphone. A man noticed his girlfriend flirting with another man at a party. Then, at home, he made an attempt to clarify the situation not directly, but by checking the correspondence on her cell phone, in the hope of finding confirmation of his jealousy. And his beloved caught him doing this. The violation of agreements and boundaries is obvious. There is a temptation to start proving that the man did something bad and make him feel guilty and ashamed. Most likely, this will cause a counter-reaction in the form of accusations of infidelity of the other half. One thing after another and here you have a quarrel and a scandal. Instead, you can clearly say about yourself and not hurt a man’s pride: “I see that you got into my phone, although you and I agreed not to do this. I am very upset and angry at your actions. I want you to give me my phone!” In response to an accusation of infidelity, you can try saying this: “I hear that you are accusing me of infidelity. I'm saddened by your words. I gave no reason to doubt my loyalty to you. I want you to trust me, even if I flirt with other men.” Unfortunately, talking about yourself is very difficult and not easy. This is important to learn if you want to make your relationships deeper and stronger. Of course, this topic is also associated with the topic of identifying and living one’s feelings and needs, self-esteem, and more. Your personal online psychologist - © Dmitry Neshchadim!
