Movement is life! Give your child the opportunity to move more! Children move constantly (unless, of course, they are sleeping at this time). They endlessly climb somewhere, jump from somewhere, swing on something and spin for some reason. Their indefatigable thirst for movement eventually tires their parents, and they try to offer different calm games - to make them calmer, quieter, and keep them occupied longer. I want to tell parents about one little “trick” of child development: A CHILD NEEDS TO MOVE. A CHILD WITH LIMITED MOTION DOES NOT DEVELOP AND DOES NOT LEARN FULLY. Only during movement are tasks important for child development solved: THE STRUCTURE OF NERVE FIBERS IS FORMED. The development of brain structures and neural connections between its hemispheres, and, consequently, the development of all higher mental functions (in simple terms - memory, thinking, attention, motivation, etc.) depends on how correctly the nerve fibers are formed. ALL ANALYZER ORGANS DEVELOP external environment, including the vestibular apparatus, coordination of movements, etc., due to which the formation of spatial perception occurs, including temporal concepts, sequence of events. We see failures in the formation of spatial perception in errors in writing letters and words, in difficulties in counting and logical reasoning. THE ABILITY TO PERCEIVE INFORMATION IMPROVES. The need to sit still while performing a task increases the child’s internal tension, and the ability to move, twirl something in his hands, helps reduce it, increases concentration, which leads to better assimilation of the material. This is especially important for younger schoolchildren, for whom the process of formation of the nervous system and the development of mental functions is in full swing. And, of course, the ability to control one’s own body, a sense of one’s own dexterity, agility (equal to “SUCCESS”) - leads to the creation of a positive self-perception, such children ADAPT to adult life more successfully.
