From the author: The full article is posted on my personal website. Dear colleagues and clients! In the era of advertising and marketing, psychologists, and I am no exception, use marketing tools in an effort to honestly earn their daily bread. Below is a generalized portrait of someone who comes to me and my colleagues for consultations. I assume that the article will be of interest to a potential client because he will see the massive number of requests to a psychologist and the problems encountered. Colleagues, this will allow us to conduct a more targeted marketing policy. Modern people use the Internet to find solutions to their problems. Below is a table that describes what queries a person makes on Google to find a psychologist. It’s interesting that people are looking for a psychologist more often than a psychotherapist. The alleged reason is the difficulty of the target audience understanding the differences between professions: psychiatrist, psychotherapist, psychologist.Addwords Google (search by profession)Keyword Level of competition Number of requests Region (Kiev, Ukraine)consultations of a psychologist in Kiev High 880consultations of a psychotherapist High 320help of a psychologist in Kiev High 720help of a psychotherapist High 260advise a psychotherapist Average 91free consultation with a psychologist Average 590individual consultation with a psychologist Wed < 10consultation with a psychologist by phone Average 28Psychotherapist Low 12 100consultation with a psychologist Kyiv price High 36 My practice shows that the Pareto rule works and clients are distributed 80 to 20 by gender. 80% of appeals are made up of a female audience and 20% male.
