Why do people turn to a psychologist for help? It’s bad for them, so they come. But the psychologist is not a social worker, he himself will not change anyone’s life. He will talk somehow. The psychologist will ask questions first. If a person periodically becomes ill on his own - nothing “outside the head” affects him “badly”, then the psychologist will suggest first consulting a psychiatrist. That is, a person will have to decide and do something. If suffering has some reason - the person found himself in some situation that made him feel sick, or an age crisis happened to him (which, in general, is also a situation) or he has such a character If a person has difficulty with it, the psychologist will first (and often not quickly) find out what leads to suffering and what the person lacks to make the suffering less. What is there in a person’s life that makes him suffer? And then... who would have thought - you will have to make a choice. Here the psychologist will help. Choices: 1. Do nothing, continue to suffer. 2. If further work occurs to accept suffering, these are already actions to change the situation. 3. You can leave everything as it is and go to supportive therapy, from time to time - when "unbearable." And here - there are new actions - to organize this therapy for yourself. 4. You can change something in this life of yours, which brings a lot of suffering - so that there is no bias in the suffering side. That is, first clarify why, then what can be done differently. And then - do it. And this, as a rule, is quite scary. Doing it in a new way - there is no experience, there will be mistakes (but what about self-esteem?), What if it was necessary to do it differently? - such disturbing thoughts arise in everyone who has tried to change something in their life. A psychologist will help cope with anxiety and doubts, but the person will have to do it himself. Meet your fear one on one and do not deviate from the path to your goal. As a result, we get a “paradox”: a psychologist works with mental suffering, and the result of therapy is some new actions in the life of the person who came to the appointment. Psychologist something does it “in the office”, and the client does it in his life. Is something stopping you from living happily? Call 8-921-919-85-59, I accept in person and online.
