Perhaps this is the most common question that I am asked by both clients and acquaintances. In short, people turn to a psychologist who, for various reasons, want to improve the quality of their life, change what does not suit them and causes discomfort. A psychologist is a certified specialist who, thanks to his professional knowledge and tools, helps the client as much as possible cope comfortably with a problematic situation. The psychologist is emotionally distant and objectively examines the problematic situation, which contributes to its resolution. It should be noted that professional psychological help (like any other professional help) is always better and more effective than just advice from friends and acquaintances. Unfortunately, there are still views that people with mental disorders need a psychologist, but fortunately, such opinions are becoming less and less common. But I repeat once again that a psychiatrist and a psychologist are two different specialists and each is necessary and useful in their own field.
