Long-term work at the computer, in particular if it is a game, destroys focus, any attention functions, including concentration. Also, we can say that computer addiction often stimulates both verbal and non-verbal aggression in a child. I will name two strategies that always work and best of all, the first is always occupational therapy, Sukhomlinsky’s golden words: “nothing heals a child’s soul like occupational therapy ". It happens that occupational therapy causes protest in a child. In this situation, you always need to act together with the parents, first the parents must realize this and start doing some kind of work with the child every day a little. “Help me go to the store, carry the bags, help me move the sofa to sweep up behind it.” That is, when you consciously begin to fill the child’s temporary space with work, the child comes out of dependence. Pay attention to how much occupational therapy is present in your activities with children. Now for many children, work is not a value, but how then can children value money or the work of their parents if work is not a value for them. the second is, of course, the culture of communication with gadgets. You must develop rules, for example: at 7 pm all gadgets are put away or no one is on social networks or sitting in front of the computer, and everyone goes for an evening walk or plays home games. That is, if mom and dad see that the child has an addiction, then they should ask themselves the question: how much of the total amount of time spent together does the child see THEM next to gadgets. He rarely sees mom and dad anyway, but when he sees them, they are always on gadgets. The child gets the feeling that living on social networks is normal. If a child looks around, he understands that others live like this, not only his parents. Then the logical chain is built like this: my parents are normal, which means I must also become normal, that is, live in gadgets - and this is a big problem.
