I have long wanted to somehow combine my philosophical worldview and psychotherapeutic methods. At one time, Freud, a convinced determinist who believed that nothing happens without reasons, introduced the concept of the unconscious. That is, if you are not aware of the reasons for your behavior, your feelings, your desires, then this does not mean that there are no quiets at all, they are just in the unconscious. In principle, I am not against searching for reasons, but determinism somehow disgusts me. Undoubtedly, one of The main philosophical problems are the search for the root cause. The first push, apeiron, the absolute and so on, or God, gods. That is, the root cause or Something or Who, and this is where the watershed lies in the search for the root causes. The same watershed lies in the understanding of the psyche. Either this is What and ultimately is completely tied to physiology, or this is Who, and then we are talking about Personality, about freedom of choice. For me personally, this is not an idle question. And I cannot dismiss it. Existentialists answer this question unequivocally - freedom of choice is possible, moreover, freedom is human nature. But does this answer solve the problem of the root cause? In my opinion, no. And that's why. Freedom is never unlimited. Man is not God. But man has the ability to navigate the opportunities provided to him and choose the criteria for this orientation. And here for me the figure of Dialogue arises. There is no absolute freedom for man, but only within the limits of dialogue with significant people. All possibilities and criteria for their assessment appear only in the process of dialogue. From birth, a person develops exclusively as a social being and this is the only way. And this is not a banal truth. Dialogue is the Root Cause. I have already said that the divide in the search for the Root Cause lies between What and Who. I, as a believer, answer for myself. The first cause is Who. And moreover, in Christianity, there is a very strange idea that God is not just Who, but a Trinity located in Dialogue. As a result, even in these Higher spheres Dialogue is the root cause.
