It happens that a parent does not respond to the difference in his views and actions and his child. Obviously, behavior other than that expected by the parent causes confusion in the soul of mom or dad or another adult. To behave as an adult expects, that is, to show the expected behavior is the visible calm of an adult. When a child demonstrates actions and reactions that are not expected from him, that he does not want, that do not fit into the concept of the parent’s values, then the adult becomes anxious, primarily because the comfort zone in which the parent knows how to respond to a familiar action and He can rest assured that his ideas about “norms” coincide with his children’s. Otherwise, the adult cannot quickly orient himself or withdraws from the child’s new behavior or reaction and it takes time to make a decision: to approve, support, accept, or criticize, not support, even somewhere abandon the child with his “not so” behavior due to the adult’s ignorance of other unfamiliar ways of responding. Often an adult makes familiar, habitual remarks precisely because they do not understand and do not want to experience an unfamiliar situation. The child is faced with a huge number of comments, prohibitions, dissatisfaction from the adult and also stops responding to the demands made. He develops his own “comfort zone”, which contains his usual picture of resistance to an adult. The parent should not distance himself from new behavior, from those reactions and feelings of the child that were not familiar before and cause confusion, anxiety and, for many, immediate desire and demand to subjugate the child to yourself, to direct him towards the known, rather than encounter something new in the development of his son or daughter. Try to develop yourself in this new way and get out of your usual comfort zone towards the scary, frightening, but special development of the child. And gain your unique new experience in education.
