From the author: More and more often, memories of traumatic situations of their school years emerge in the memory of my clients. School is long behind them, and the pattern of behavior (keeping a low profile, remaining silent, being comfortable, not being able to say no, dependence on the opinions of others, and much more) laid down in childhood accompanies them for many years. School, how much it gives us and how much it takes away. “Comfort is living conditions, conditions of stay, environment that provide convenience, tranquility and coziness.” S.I. Ozhegov “Explanatory Dictionary of the Russian Language”. More and more often, loud words such as “psychological comfort”, “psychological safety” are heard within the walls of schools, and it would seem that everyone knows the meaning, meaning, importance, and goals of these concepts , but, to my deep regret, not everyone strives to implement them. Communicating with colleagues - psychologists, I came to the conclusion that many educational institutions face this problem, be it secondary schools, gymnasiums, colleges, etc. In my article I would like to talk about schools, gymnasiums. Very often, students face with a lack of understanding, or even a lack of desire to understand or hear them, which subsequently leads to problems of a different nature. Absent from the lesson due to participation in competitions, various olympiads, competitions or due to illness, children come to the educational institution not prepared for lessons or prepared, but according to the assignment given by classmates, which often does not correspond or partially corresponds to the real task and, As a result, they receive “2” points in the journal. Common situation? The child faces “a wall of misunderstanding.” All attempts to explain to the teacher, to remind the reason for your absence are suppressed, sometimes in an unacceptable form: “... but I don’t care where you were, you have to go to my lessons,” “... so what, you were sick (lying in hospital)”, “there are only competitions in my head...” or “... these are your problems.” Indifference is the defining concept of behavior, I’m not afraid of this word, of careless teachers. “Indifference is a state of complete indifference, disinterest”, Ushakov’s explanatory dictionary. This is a state of complete disinterest in the events happening around, an apathetic, indifferent attitude towards people, insensitivity. An indifferent person is not interested in the feelings and emotions of the people around him, events and their social assessment. Indifference, it seems to me, is a manifestation of certain character traits, such as selfishness, selfishness, pride, etc. It precedes the destruction of personality and always returns like a boomerang to the one who manifests it and contributes to the multiplication of evil. Indifference is not the best quality of a modern teacher, is it? Disappointment, anxiety, resentment, anger, irritation are precisely these feelings that a child or teenager experiences at the moment, but there could be other feelings, those that characterize psychological comfort - as living conditions, in which a person feels calm, there is no need to defend himself. We should not forget that psychological comfort at school is an important condition for the effectiveness of learning, the education of a modern personality, and an integral part of a person’s psychological health. No success in education will bring any benefit if it is based on fear of adults and suppression of the child’s personality. No one talks about encouraging failure to complete homework, we are talking about understanding the reason, the opportunity to be heard, understood and accepted, about the feeling of need, mental well-being , positive worldview and self-attitude. Indifferent observation or destructive intrusion into the world of a child is what our pupil often encounters in his young life. I don’t want to say that within the walls of educational institutions there are no teachers left who have an individual approach to each ward, who show interest, attention, care - fortunately there is. However, we should not forget that psychological trauma inflicted by a devaluing teacher, received in childhood and adolescence, takes root in our.
