Have you ever caught yourself thinking about putting something off “for later”? For example, your life. Calling an old friend with whom you haven’t spoken for a long time. I will meet with parents who live in another city or region. A purchase that can be made now, or if you don’t have enough money, then take out a loan for it, rather than buy it sometime there. A clear example that demonstrates the phenomenon of “delayed life” and, one might say, happiness, is the following story. “It’s already spring, and I didn’t even notice... Three years ago, it seemed to me that everything would be the way I want, or rather, the way we want. It all started that summer when I flew to Ireland to study. Having entered the institute and studied for two years, as an active and successful student, I was invited to participate in a competitive inter-university exchange of talented students. I didn’t really want to go somewhere to study, so I wasn’t too worried about not being among the winners. Having filled out the form, I happily forgot about it and continued to go about my daily business. Like all young girls, I loved spending time in interesting companies, constantly communicating and meeting people, but fortunately or unfortunately I did not have a boyfriend. I have always been a passionate person with a huge range of interests. Horse riding, swimming, extreme driving have always been present in my life - this is where I felt that I lived. But apparently the incompatible was combined in me - this is also a parallel love for books. Some find it difficult to change activity to passive sitting in their hands with a book, but I managed to do it. Even somewhere inside I dreamed of having my own bookstore. When I came to buy another book, I could walk there for hours, and it gave me pleasure. Having successfully passed all the exams, the school year came to an end. And then I was informed that I had won the competition and was going on exchange for three years to continue my studies in Ireland. Having arrived there, I quickly settled into a student dormitory, which was next to the university’s academic building, and decided to take a walk around the outskirts of the city N. For It was not surprising to me that, without knowing the city in detail, I went out onto the street where the largest bookstore was. “Love can do many things,” I thought, “looking at the display case with books.” And while I was standing there and thinking, He ran over me on his bicycle. Pulling back, I could not stand on my feet and sat down right in the middle of the sidewalk. At the same time, I managed to get caught on his vehicle and tear my jeans. This is how I met Marcas. When I got up and looked at my “benefactor”, I really didn’t like him. “The stereotype of all girls,” I thought. Indeed, he was the stereotype: blue eyes, blond hair, tall and athletic. Together with my ruined jeans, without saying a word, I turned around and left. The next day in the evening, in the courtyard in front of the university, my gaze settled on an already familiar silhouette. Noticing me, the young man quickly walked towards me. Approaching closer, I recognized him as yesterday’s ignoramus. “It’s fate to express my “Fe,” a thought flashed in my head. But then, as it turned out, this was indeed fate, only for the rest of my life. Smiling broadly, he apologized and offered to take a walk. Marcas studied at the same university, only in his last year. He worked with his father in an engineering company. Lived independently. We started talking, and after several months of dating we could no longer imagine how we could not be together. We were interested in each other, we always vacationed together and had common friends, and we also found common hobbies. He even realized that I love books and constantly buy them when I can carry everything electronically. I still had two years of study left when Marcas graduated from university. I didn't want to think about what would happen to the relationship. Well, it’s good that I didn’t think, I wouldn’t have guessed anyway - he asked me to get married. Every girl dreams of this, but I couldn’t say: “Yes.” I needed to graduate and place myself somewhere!
