Who am I a psychologist for? I am a psychologist for those who find it difficult to cope with their lives. For those who lack love, acceptance, recognition. When the feeling of helplessness and unbearable loneliness overwhelms you: - They don’t understand me, I’m tired of this life, relationships, work... Clients come to share their sorrows with me. Because shared grief is doubly reduced. And shared joy doubles! Although they are rarely treated with joy. But how warm and filling sessions about joy can be! People come to truly be heard and seen for the first time, to gain the experience of non-judgmental acceptance, the experience of healthy relationships, self-care. As a psychologist, I am in a unique relationship with another person. In a live dialogue. For a whole hour I live next to the client in his world, his concerns, and look through his eyes. My reserve of emotional strength helps me to withstand strong emotions, and it is limited. Therefore, the number of clients I have is limited. The myth is that it’s easy to work as a psychologist!🔸To be effective, you need to accommodate and contain many complex feelings and experiences.🔸Remain curious about clients’ stories, to their inner world.🔸Be attuned and sensitive to notice the slightest changes.🔸Remain in a holistic, healthy part. It is important to know your emotional capacity and take into account your own resource.Psychologists have to withstand narcissistic rage, relive the violence and cruelty of childhood traumas, balance in the “quicksands” of client dependencies, experience devaluation, anger and criticism of transferences ...The work of a psychologist is not only sessions with clients. This includes ongoing training, advanced training, individual/group supervision, intervision, personal and group therapy. To be a helping specialist, it is important to be able to help yourself, take care, first of all, of yourself, keep your working tools clean and resourceful, filled with warmth and joy. More than once I have come across a sarcastic response on the forum about the working tool of a psychologist, when they compare the helping profession with the oldest female profession. And here I agree and emphasize the advantage of psychologists with a joke: Representatives of the oldest profession become cheaper over the years, and psychologists only become more expensive over the years. And yes, indeed, they work on their own. Clients come in a state of confusion in order to feel support in contact with me. It is important for me to maintain my inner support, integrity and stability. To do this, I find relationships that bring me joy, interests and hobbies, I walk a lot, do yoga and horse riding, and read. I love theaters and exhibitions, I am inspired by paintings and handmade objects. I am filled with wonderful emotions from traveling and new knowledge about the world. What topics do I work with? How can I help you? I believe that “breakdowns” received in relationships can only be healed in relationships. Time does not heal psychotraumas; they cannot be endured. The therapeutic space is a unique place where you can gain a new healing experience! Did you like the article? Be generous with your likes and comments! Can’t cope with your emotions, your life, do you need professional support? I invite you to my caring and safe space! Online session RUB 3,000. In person Balashikha 3500 RUR.
