WHY DO YOU NEED A POST-TREATMENT PROGRAM? A post-treatment program is needed to help recovering addicts adapt to society. During post-treatment rehabilitation, specialists discuss with the children the current difficulties that arise in their real lives. Finding themselves in society, they are faced with a reality that they previously ran away from and used. And now, after leaving the center, they have to build a new, sober life! They begin to put into practice the knowledge acquired at the center. Many of the guys do not remember their sober life experiences, and like little children, they begin to take their first steps, mastering their living space. Each person recovering has their own personal story, which, as if in a mirror, is reflected in the soul of each of them! What many people see at the beginning of their journey, looking at the world with sober eyes - ruins, lost trust of loved ones, damaged relationships, financial debts, lack of work, etc. A recovering NA and AA after leaving the center has to restore what was destroyed - change his previous behavior, his character, do actions that will help regain the trust of loved ones, establish mutual understanding in his families, with his wives and children, return their respect and love, distribute money debts, that is, to build, recreate your life. They are faced with difficult tasks, and it takes a lot of courage, strength, and self-confidence that they can cope! And at this stage, each of them needs help and support, not only from close people, but also from specialists. This is the program manager who is available and in touch virtually around the clock. This person has a set of personal and moral qualities that they want to emulate, who, by his example, gives the guys faith and confidence that they will succeed, since he succeeded, he could, which means they also have a chance to become better. And you also need the help of a psychologist. This is a person next to whom you can feel safe, a person who understands, accepts without judgment, with whom you can share your feelings, fears, experiences, thoughts... that is, by being nearby, grow up! A psychologist helps you find a resource for developing new skills and a new worldview! It also helps children experience and understand difficult feelings and mental pain. During classes, children receive individual homework, then work through it together, exchanging feedback. A psychologist teaches new knowledge and shares his life experience. He also conducts trainings that help consolidate skills and material that they have learned that they can apply in life! Taking care of you! Author: Larina Elena Anatolyevna
