Many of us would like to know what others really think. It seems that if we knew this, life would be easier. Perhaps this is not the case. But there are definitely situations where mind reading helps. I believe in the ability to read other people's thoughts. For each. And in fact, we already do all this, but we often do it unconsciously. Some people do it better, some worse. Some people use this talent, others don’t. What does it mean to “read minds”? To begin with, I will say what does not apply to the process of mind reading in my understanding. This is, for example, the phenomenon that results in so many people not having satisfying relationships - when partners believe that one should know the thoughts of the other. Therefore, they are carefully hidden. “If she loves me, then everything will work out.” But she didn’t even know that he loved her, then maybe everything would have worked out... It’s difficult for us to speak directly about our needs, and as a result, we ourselves are not the masters of our lives. No less dangerous is the situation when a person believes that he himself knows the thoughts of another, but in reality he only projects his own onto his behavior. “He always smiles at me like that, he probably likes me.” She likes him and is looking for confirmation. And he smiles at all women like that. So what does mind reading mean? Any thought is reflected in the body, and we note these bodily movements and understand what a person actually wants to say when he says something completely different - convenient, necessary, social safe. Unconsciously, we trust the body more, but our critical mind (left hemisphere) often destroys weak signals of intuition (right hemisphere). But only 7% of a person’s words can be considered reliable information about him. And yet we stubbornly listen to these very words and believe, believe... In my understanding, reading thoughts means seeing a physical reflection of the processes occurring inside a person. A person communicates with his whole body, not just with words. Every gesture, eye movement or change in voice is a message for the interlocutor. To tune into another person's flow of thoughts, you need to use these messages. To do this you need to establish rapport. This is the name for the process of creating harmony and friendliness in relationships. By observing people and creating rapport, we understand more: how they think, how they look at the world, how they feel. A couple of lovers, a mother with a baby, old friends - they understand each other without words, because a good rapport has been established between them. By creating rapport, we create something invaluable in a relationship – trust. And it is at this moment that mind reading begins. In fact, we are always trying to establish rapport with the people around us, and sometimes we succeed, sometimes we don’t. This happens because we are often not aware of how we do it. It's time to change this. The tools in establishing rapport are the body, voice, and breathing. You've probably heard the expression "body language." There are even textbooks that say that putting your little finger to the side means this, and tapping your left foot means that. Unfortunately, everything is not as simple as it seems. The context in which a person performs this action is very important, and what kind of person it is is also extremely important. In establishing rapport, you don't have to think about what each gesture means—you just need to repeat those gestures. Notice how your interlocutor holds his back, how his hands are folded, and do the same. You need to remember that your reaction must be very subtle: if you suddenly begin to copy your interlocutor too clearly, you will not be able to establish rapport, because he will have doubts about your mental state. First, you need to mask the movements, repeating them to a small extent, and maintain pauses. If possible, copy the expression on the interlocutor’s face - it’s safe, since the person cannot see his own face. He will simply understand that you feel the same as he does, you are like him, you are the same as him. This means that he will begin to feel sympathy for you. After some time you will learn to tie.
