Summer has come. Many people have only a few days left before their vacation, and in their minds they are already on the sandy beach or rushing towards adventure. But you still need to work. At the same time, it becomes more difficult to concentrate on performing daily tasks, and work requires more strength and energy. Describing their state before vacation, some employees note increased fatigue, overexertion, and irritability. Others, on the contrary, talk about an unusual surge in activity. In order to save your resources, feel good, and at the same time not suffer in the quality of work, you need to correctly distribute the load. To do this, first of all, you need to dispassionately assess the amount of work remaining before the vacation. And understand whether it is possible to complete it in a matter of days/weeks. Practice shows that most often this is impossible. Just realize it, take it for granted. This will reduce the level of anxiety, and, as a result, release energy. After this, start planning. Write a list of priority tasks before your vacation and when you return to work. Try to distribute the load evenly. Don't forget to rest! This is an essential part of the labor process and should not be underestimated. Passive rest will help you use energy sparingly for work. Get your affairs and workplace in order. This will create the necessary atmosphere and help your psyche adjust to a long-term rest regime. The next point in our realities is rather theoretical in nature. But I hope that among the readers there are also those who can afford such conditions. Normally, for proper rest, restoration of strength and reserves of the body, a person needs at least three weeks of vacation. Only then can we fully relax. You shouldn't leave on the first day of your vacation. Stay at home for a few days in a calm environment. The same recommendation applies to the end of your vacation. You shouldn’t rush to work as soon as you step off the plane. The body needs time to acclimatize and the psyche to adapt; this takes an average of 7 to 10 days. And only the remaining days will you rest in the full sense of the word. If you have a 2-week vacation, then it is in your power to make it quality. As I already wrote: the quality of our life depends on the quality of our emotions. On vacation, gain more impressions, and, as a result, vivid memories. Be attentive to the world around you, avoid monotony and boredom. Even if you spend your vacation not exactly the way you want - at the dacha, doing repairs, etc. - you can find unusualness, beauty, and amazing phenomena anywhere. Even a swamp is beautiful, you just have to see it. I wish you a pleasant holiday and an easy return to the working rhythm!
